Ok got it it’s fine for you to break the lockdown rules when it suits you but if anybody else breaks them they shouldn’t receive nhs treatment.
If your father needs treatment then if the NHS are not able to provide transport for him then he should get in a taxi with a stranger who he doesn’t live with and have him drive him to hospital and collect him.
You are either for the rules or are against them. I have more respect for somebody who says “**** the rules and is open about it” or somebody who follows the rules.
The superior ones who judge others but are happy to break the rules when it suits them are the worst types imo.
Your post also implies that I have broken the lockdown and shouldn’t be entitled to NHS treatment? I haven’t broken the lockdown once, I keep out the way of people when I am out walking (out of respect of their fears not my own).
Ironically unless you live with your father then it is in fact you and your father who are breaking the lockdown by going to the hospital together. Which means you are contradicticting yourself as you can’t change the rules when it suits you.
Surely somebody who is so strict on lockdown should not be taking his father (unless you live with him) to the hospital.
Obviously I don’t have any problem with you taking your father to the hospital and believe it’s the right thing to do as I’m sure he will appreciate the company from his own family though by doing so it completely contradicts your own opinion on lockdown

I don’t understand why you are asking me if he should stay at home? Surely that is his decision to make not mine?
“Hong Kong flu killed 80,000 people in the UK just over fifty years ago. We did not shut down the economy and make people stay at home. Why have we panicked so much this time around?”The elites were not ready 50 years ago to orchestrate a global takeover and a one world government. They are now.
The NHS would not have coped. They predicted if we had kept on as normal 80% of the population would have contracted the virus with half a million dead. But at least you could have got a KFC.
Surely from the fallout of having basically closed the entire worlds economy for over 8 weeks a much much larger strain will be placed on the NHS? Poverty like never seen before is coming, with poverty comes disease and poor health and disease, the fallout from mental health alone will break the NHS never mind all the people who will die from starvation and other diseases caused by poverty.
Lockdown will ultimately break the NHS once and for all far greater than any respiratory virus ever could.
You are of course correct Red Rum though ironically even though Lord Sumption is a highly intelligent man he will no doubt be vilified, ridiculed and made out to be about as sensible as screaming lord such by the media. So perhaps it was fitting that I got the name mixed up.
The Lord Such appearance on BBC was fantastic. The first person I have seen slip through the net on the blatant propaganda that is main stream news. I love how the interviewer tries to get on top by quizzing him if he has respected the lockdown and he takes her apart. Superb stuff.
Paul under current uk laws it may not be possible to force vaccines but the world is now clearly controlled by a global power and when they want to make it mandatory they will do just that.
Prince Phillip famously said many years ago that if reincarnation existed and he could return to earth as anything then it would be as a virus that would wipe out humanity. He appears to have his wish and it’s even named The Crown Virus as corona is Spanish for Crown. What were the chances?
It’s worth taking a look back at the London Olympics satanic opening ceremony of 2012. Dancing nurses, a virus shown coming in and attacking, followed by the big cage on wheels (slavery), a giant evil figure with a needle giving the kids vaccines, a sick man in a bed who looks like boris Johnson and Mary Poppins flying in (signifying the nanny state).
On 39 mins the queen enters then it’s the NHS part that is worth looking back on.
Personally I would prefer to die from a virus with my freedom than to live the rest of my life as a slave, unable to see my family, friends and having to keep 2 metres apart from everybody for the rest of my life.
I will not be taking the mandatory vaccine when they force it on us no matter what the cost.
I have had a go ew on PAULS SAGA at 15/2. It’s getting backed and the 15/2 won’t last much longer.
Trainers on fire with 4 wins from last 10 runners. She is a CD winner and multiple course winner, she will relish the ground, trip and track. I think she has a strong chance here and looks a solid ew bet.
I think the favourite may be vulnerable as it’s unproven over the trip and 4 of her 5 wins were in 4yo only races so she could be vulnerable today.
If 2 of you remember jumping taking place at Southwell aw track then I stand corrected. I don’t ever remember that happening. Perhaps it’s my age but my mind is blown that they actually held hurdles races on the track.
Edit Added:
you are certainly both correct having looked into it both Lingfield and Southwell held aw hurdles races for a short period before being scrapped.Amazingly one of my favourite horses and my first ever Cheltenham festival winner the brilliant Viking Flagship actually won a hurdles race on Lingfields aw hurdle track.
I’m amazed and have learnt something new. Not surprised it didn’t last long. What on earth were they thinking?
“I was not around when it was a jump course, but I am pretty much sure the fibresand came about as an experiment for AW jumping, but it got shelved as proved too fatal”
Aw racing was originally proposed as a possibility in 1984 due to 72 NH meetings getting cancelled though I don’t believe it was ever even considered for a jumping purpose. I believe it was proposed to offer punters something to bet on when the NH meetings got cancelled but was never considered for actual jumps racing.
Lingfield was the 1st aw track in the uk and staged it’s first meeting in 1988. Southwell then became the 2nd aw track in 1989 and the only fibresand track in the country.
Wolverhampton came next and became the countries 2nd fibresand track after it closed its turf track.
No problem matron.
The first NH bumper card on the fibresand was held in 2010 (I didn’t realise it was so long ago, just googled it). It has happened every season since as it was a success.
I find society in general to be narcisstic and obsessed with getting likes on Facebook. I dislike this attention seeking attitude that so many are obsessed with today. That applies to all social media users who act up for likes. Irrelevant if nurses, doctors, taxi drivers or any other profession.
If you want a dance then have a dance, if that helps you deal with stress or makes you feel good fantastic. I just don’t see the need to do it on camera and put it on social media regardless of who you are and what you do. That’s my opinion.
Yes I am aware that Southwell has a turf NH course and has regular jumps meetings.
I am not aware of any jumps racing taking place on the aw track at Southwell though which is what my post was about. I stated Southwell aw track as never having been used as a jumps track to my knowledge. Would surely be too dangerous and would cause many injuries to both horses and jockeys if they actually had jumps there in the past.
Maybe I misunderstood TBracings post but it seemed to suggest that in the old days they actually used the aw track as a jumps track which would surprise me greatly if that ever happened.
As far as I was aware they initially used the fibresand track for a bumper only card a number of years ago due to the bad weather and most of the NH meetings being cancelled as it gave the NH trainers a chance to get a run into their horses. I believe they still do that occasionally to this day.
Southwell aw has never been a jumping track as far as I am aware. They do use it for the bumper NH races occasionally but surely it has never ever been a jumping track?
Apologies if I am wrong but I don’t think I am.
I do not clap when told to on a Thursday and never will. I refuse to clap my enslavement.
I find the thousands of videos of nurses dancing in the hospitals disturbing and narcissistic when there are so many people not getting their correct cancer treatment etc due to this virus and many other treatments.
I respect the nurses and doctors and they do a very important job but I find so many things wrong with what is currently happening.
My elderly mother cannot see her 2yo grandson and can’t visit my sisters house. If however she was employed as a cleaner at my sisters house she would be able to visit every day. It’s all wrong.
Fear weakens the immune system yet since day 1 it has been 24 hours fear everyday.
Why are the news or gmtv etc taking out just 1 minute per day to give advice on healthy eating to boost the immune system. Instead of helping people understand about the immune system and how to boost it they sell us fear. It’s disgusting. The people who are begging for us to be locked down for longer and stricter make me sick.
The economic collapse of this will create far more deaths, poverty, suicide and damage than any virus ever could.
I’m no expert on french racing by any means. Just been so long without racing that I wanted to try and solve a race (I don’t touch the American stuff and would normally not touch the french either).
Landed the ew but ultimately a stupid bet as I have no knowledge of these french NH trainers etc.I wouldn’t hold too much hope on that as France today cancelled Ligue 1 and 2 for the season in the football due to fears of a 2nd major outbreak. That’s a big decision to cancel Frances biggest sports league and I can’t see any possibility that they would allow racing in 2 weeks off the back of that news.
I believe the Premier League is highly likely to be cancelled in the next 2 weeks in the uk sadly though once again will be delighted to be wrong.- AuthorPosts
