Outside World brought shame upon her family with that performance.

Great run from Meehans though to pick up 4th at 33/1

Also done a smaller ew bet on VERTIGNOUS 28/1 (4 places betfair).

Any Meehan 2yo who wins or almost wins on debut is likely to be a group level winner. The horse has the ability to win a group race but also has a touch of mental. She did not handle the Kempton bends at all last time and that run can be completely forgotten.
She can improve on her 4th start, will improve for the 6f, the straight track will suit and she has a genuine chance here at big odds.

The AW racing has some occasional gems. Enable made her debut at Newcastle and was unbeaten in 3 AW races.
Many races are trash but we do see plenty of great horses start off on the synthetic surfaces. Many aw races are excellent if you search for them and embrace them.

BUILD ME UP is drawn 12 but high draw is fine here.
Andrew Balding is in good form with 11 winners from 47 runners over the last 2 weeks.
His 2yos are on fire however and it’s 7 wins from 18 runs for his 2yo string this August. He has had an outstanding season with 2yos already but August 2021 is on course to be his most successful ever month of training 2yos. Currently operating a 39% strike rate this month with the 2yos. Absolute Fire 🔥

BUILD ME UP was as green as grass on debut when sent off just 5/1.
She has had 28 days since that run and the team are predicting a completely different performance here where she knows her job and is ready to deliver.
Balding has the form line to the favourite Tyson and must be brimming with confidence that BUILD ME UP can beat Tyson today.

William Cox takes 3lb off and has a good win record when riding Baldings 2yos.

It’s hard to say whether the winner will be ALTAI or BUILD ME UP but it’s simplicity itself to say that the winner WILL be one of these 2 horses.

It could be William or it could be Clive but one things for certain there will be some Cox winning this race today.

    Pure fire 2yo masterclass bet.

ALTAI is drawn in stall 11 but a high draw is absolutely fine over 5f here and is no disadvantage.
Cox can have them ready to fly at first time of asking and he has found an excellent opportunity. He is one of only 2 colts in this race, the other one is low ability and running for a handicap mark. So this is clearly The Alpha of this race.
Cox is 10-28 at Bath with his 2yos in the last 5 years and any 2yo he sends here then you need to take it very seriously indeed.
ALTAI was foaled January 16th and is the oldest horse in the field. Cox is bringing a strong developed alpha male to an easy maiden on a track that he only sends the 🔥 to run at 2yo level.

This could easily be a display of pure bullying from the fast Cox Colt.

Only one horse can possibly make a race of it or take advantage if something horrendous happened to ALTAI.

TYSON is the short priced favourite but looks a sitting duck today.
He remains a maiden after 6 races and has wasted easier opportunities than this.
He was gelded after 3 races and has gone backwards in his last 2 races. An exposed 2yo in decline is not a likely winner of a 2yo maiden winner at this time of year (or any time for that matter).
His best piece of form came when 2nd at Ascot in a nursery off 80 though significantly he was beaten by a Balding 2yo that day which means Balding will have a good idea as to what is required to beat him today and of course Tyson has regressed since then.

Hannon isn’t in the best form at present, his last 9 runners have all been well beaten and unplaced, he did have a 1/6 fav win a 4 runner race but the stable is very quiet at present with just 4 wins from 70 runners in the last 14 days.
The form of the stables 2yo string is even worse and it’s 0-29 for team Hannon 2yos this August.

Tyson is a banker only for the insane and stands next to no chance of being involved today.

Therefor there can be only 2 horses who can possibly win this race.

Sir Mark Prescott rarely has a 2yo debutant winner. He can get an occasional 2yo maiden winner but most of his aren’t campaigned to produce early in career.
Prescott is 0-3 with his 2yos at Bath over the last 5 years and Ryan Tate isn’t an inspirational booking although he can ride the occasional winner for Prescott.

QUELLA SPORENZA is out of Zoffany and well bred.
The dam QUITE A THING was fast and was 1-2-1 on her first 3 races as a 2yo but she ran badly on her 4th start at Bath when 6/4 fav and was unplaced.
QUELLA SPORENZA will hopefully have picked up the not liking Bath gene.
Stall 1 could be a problem and unless she is lightning out the gates she could be fenced in behind a wall of horses and struggle to get involved.

She could be decent in the coming months but will struggle today and looks to be merely on a day trip which means there can be only 3 possible winners.

HONEYWELL, MAYBE TONIGHT and JENS GIFT are all on their 3rd start and will receive an OR after today’s performance. None of these will be trying to win on this occasion.

The Rod Millman and Joe Tickle debutants FALMOUTH BALERINA and MISS ANACO are only here for experience and won’t be involved.

Roger Charlton NEXT SECOND has been abysmal on all 3 starts so far and appears devoid of ability.

    MARIONS STAR makes no appeal.

The team can be very confident that none of the above horses can possibly win this 2yo maiden.

Leaving a short list of just 4 possible winners – TYSON, ALTAI, BUILD ME UP and QUELLA SPARENZA.

All profit goes onboard ‘TAPETA BANK JOB’ HEARTBREAKER at 4/5 with skybet in the 2:35 Wolv.

Biggest certainty since BATTLE OF THE NILE.

Michael Bell has only ever ran 3 horses as 4yos in novice company on the AW and all 3 of them won.
So far clear you will be counting the winnings before the 2 pole.

This is the answer I was looking for Cork and I’m certain it’s the correct one even though I have no stats to prove it.

Which UK racetrack sees the leader change more times in the final half furlong than any other track in the country on average?

I don’t officially know the answer to this question but I can 99 % certain guarantee the answer.

    Lefranco Dettori

Doesn’t look right but something like that. I much preferred when it said L Dettori on the card in the old days to the modern cards that call him Frankie Dettori. The L Dettori added 1/2 length to every ride imo.

Exotic Dancer is correct. One of the unluckiest chasers of all time to be born into the same period as Kauto Star and Denman. In most other generations he would have dominated the chasing division.

I have googled and was of course correct.

Which horse was 2nd to Kauto Star in both the King George and Gold Cup in the 2006/2007 season?
