Really got away with this, and made a nice profit on the “mini book”, mainly thanks to Saphir Du Rheu, and Vyta Du Roc, who I made a nice few quid off of. Down overall on the race with my bets with the books, and my Hennessy/Gold Cup Double’s, but enjoy doing this, and good when it comes off. I managed to make a profit on Monksland, and I’m not sure why, but was comfortably able to lay Wounded Warrior for a profit yesterday morning, even with the news he wasn’t going. I made pennies off the others.

With the money I made on the “mini book”, I added Double Ross at 240’s to 250’s. He’s consistently underrated, and I think he could just surprise.

If I was starting from scratch, I’d like to be with Smad Place, Vicente, and Blaklion, but should Smad Place win, I won’t complain.

    Left with……

    Native River 16’s
    Saphir Du Rheu 25’s ew

    Triolo D’Alene 100’s to 150’s
    Hadrians Approach 90’s to 140’s
    Double Ross 240’s to 250’s

Any one of those 3, would be most welcome.

Venture, that is marvellous stuff at those prices, 1, 2, 4, and a great early bet with Native River. I hope you had Ross + Hadrian each way as well.

I thought I read you had priced up your Native River in the double for The Gold Cup, but can’t see it?? I might have dreamt it maybe.

I had to be with Triolo out of the big priced ones didn’t I grrrr

Great pick Raymo and Orchid, 6-1 was a great price in hindsight.

It’s always good to be part of the gamble Moyenne, and a horse back to his best. Well done all the other winners too.

On the subject of Taquin De aseuil, he must be a serious candidate for The Ryanair as it might not be as hot a race this season

Well done Venture and steeplechasing, some good place money there with the 40’s, what a run from him.

I have bet Afairre D’honneur and Mr Mix here, I think both won’t be too far away.

So far so good with Triolo D’Alene standing his ground today, but I also got involved with his stablemate Vyta Du Roc before the 25-1 disappeared completely

Looks like a bet to watch rather than part with cash, but I think if on song, Coneygree will be hard to beat.

I have been really happy with how Lancaster Bomber has progressed since I gave him a mention during the summer. I didn’t for a second though think I would see him in The Breeders Cup. I have bet him for the guineas and though I feel there will be one or two to progress beyond him, I hold out hope for a really good season as a 3 year old.

Yes agreed Venture, I added him at 110’s for an extra few pounds to go along with the 33-1 and now just to hope he can make it there.

I have bet him for the BetVictor, and at 33-1 I will stick with him here too.

If I had a crystal ball and knew what Gigginstown horses would show up, I would like to risk Roi Des Francs at 40-1 with Bet365 and the same bet with Wounded Warrior.

Buckers, I assume you mean Triolo D’Alene. I’m on the verge of doing a “mini-book” on this race, and the 100’s to 150’s on him was far too big to refuse. If he’s good to go, then he must have an outside chance, and was more than happy to risk a few quid at those prices.

Yes Venture, it was Triolo D’Alene I forgot to add. I like those odds you got, beats my 33’s, so I may hbe a bit myself.

Definitely Minella Rocco for me at this stage, and I’m happy to have a very early punt at 33-1.

Venture, two that you picked out make most appeal to me looking at the entries, Soladh of Ginge and Triolo D’Alene. Best run for a while from Splash of Ginge the last time and I have bet him at 33-1. I hope the rain stays away for Triolo D’Alene. He has dropped a few pounds and this will be different from a soft ground national or facing Silviniaco Conti at levels on soft at Ascot and I have also bet him at 25-1

Thanks Geezer. I won’t set a question so that Crepello can set the next if that’s ok.
