Well done Ginger with the winner, he Won in good style for you.
I was really pleased to get some money back from The Cashel Man but he didn’t look at any stage during the race that he would trouble the winner. I think he is a horse worth following again next year.
With the 5 places available, I am happy to chance a few pounds on The Cashel Man at 25-1, I thought that was a fair trial at the track on his last run.
Well done Botchy, what a price, and well done other winners too.
Take a bow Venture, what an early bird that is, just great tipping
Rocky, do you concentrate on the combo of Mullins and Ricci, or do you follow any other stable looking for early value.
I noticed lady year that you had some excellent early season prices which bore fruit in the spring, and I might be wrong, but from memory you had winners from a few stables so I was just curious as to your non Mullins fancies, as I think that’s where the value lies at this stage.
Good luck with all your early gambles this year.
I had Von Blucher today Joni, and I had him in an each way double with Third Time Lucky. I” usually a single backer only so kicking myself, really thought Blucher was a certainty.
Great winner with Eminent, they are the ones you remember, very well done
Although I am happy with my 18’s on Raucous, I would have liked to have seen more support for him and I thought he would have came in a bit by now.
I am more encouraged by the support for Aeolus as I had bet him each way at 25-1 yesterday. Does anybody have any thoughts on him?
Thank you for the quick reply Joni, fingers crossed.
33-1 unbelievable again Venture, called before any of the firms priced up the race, that is good going considering the SP on the day, well done to you and the others including Battler, another bumper 33-1 winner.
I am looking forward to the jumpers coming back out, but did not pay too much attention today. I went with an old favourite of mine in First lieutenant but his best days might be behind him now as he was well back in the end
I liked the 20-1 available for New Bay, and I would like to think he has an each way chance. I am hoping that will make it on the day, and along with the 8-1 I took on La Cressonniere I am hopeful of some sort of return.
Ginger, do you have any thoughts on New Bay for The Arc, I was quite happy to part with some cash at 20-1 each way
Joni, I see you had money on New Bay at the weekend. He disappointed a little bit, but as I’ve got him now as a more sensible alternative to Flintshire for the arc, I was wondering if you had any thoughts on him for that race.
I have him at 20-1 each way, and I think he has a chance of making the frame, to go along with my other bet La Cressoniere at 8-1.
Thanks for the reply Joni, I think it would be wise to leave him just now

Thank you for that reply Ginger. Yes I thought he’d be unlikely to travel, but it is good to see my fears to be confirmed.
Ginger, do you know anything about the chances of Anerican raiders in The Arc, it’s just that I want to bet Flintshire, but I get the feeling that American runners would not be too frequent.
Or anybody else who reads this thread?

Good opening post Venture and good luck with the picks.
I’m definitely with Botchy here and I think that the 18-1 available with Bet365 is massive, I thought he would be near the top of the market. I dont like betting antepost too often but this price is tempting.
