I liked that performance stilvi and though I share your concern about the extra trip, if she were to remain around the 8-1 mark, I’d like to have her on my side. I don’t really bet too much these days, let alone antepost but Flintshire at 40-1 with Betway looks good. The only problem there is I don’t know if the new trainer would be interested in such a trip, or if he has any previous record of sending horses over for it.
I thought I seen a horse with a good attitude and a good future last time with Lancaster Bomber and though looking like second string, I’m going to have an each way bet at 20-1. Rhododendron looks too short a price for me to bet her as a single but I might double them up today.
Unbelievable Venture To Cognac, 100-1, yet another massive priced return for you, time and time again.
Very impressive Raymo
Thistlecrack was a revelation last season, I just hope he continues in the same vein over fences, and really looking forward to his first tilt over the big obstacles.
I don’t think the bump made much of a difference with my Isomer, and I thought I would see a little bit more today and no excuses I’m sorry to say. Nice winner though and well done Goreisking and Nathan.
I am another supporter for Isomer here. I am more than a little surprised that he’s drifted a shade, as I thought the opposite would be the case, but at 12-1 I think he has a real chance of filling a place.
There is not that much between the faves, but I would slightly favour Boynton.More great scoring Raymo, well done.
That’s another decent winner for you Jonibake, continually impressive and very well done.
Well done to BigG, Venture To Cognac, and Raymo61. I’ve been watching from the sidelines for a while now and You 3 guys are untouchable in this part of the forum, and prove yourselves time and time again. I think a very fitting result.
I had my first big bet of the summer on Lincoln at nice prices and he went very close to giving me a return in 6th having had him 5 places. I think he looks like a horse who’ll be winning soon, and I’ll watch out for him.
Even with Postponed in there, it was a very weak looking renewal, which is a pity, as this used to be a really significant race.
Just another race now, and in no rush to part with any cash on it just for the sake of it.
If he lined up on Saturday and was a price, I’d maybe get involved with Sir Isaac, but until then, not for me.
