Having been on her at 10-1 I can’t bring myself to back African Rose at 4s now- still fancy her tomorrow though. I reckon the prices are about right, not surprising since we were all betting on the same race for so long before the abandonment. Good luck with US Ranger Tenbob- do your ratings take into account his being a complete hound? Suggest you lay back a bit in-running on Betfair!

I’ve had an each-way poke on Yellowstone- thought his run in the Newburgh under a big weight was excellent, one of the few who could be improving. Fav looks a moral though.

It might sound like a daft question Tenbob, but why would anyone with enough application to form their own ratings want to back a horse rated with so little in hand, on ground he has never run on?

not a daft question its just i concentrate on group 1 and 2 races only useing an old computer program and back the top rated and best value in top three.
for the last 5 years i have come out in profit.

gets beat time after time if he’s gets into a battle.
loyalty of his retainer keeps him going, take hamden away and see where he goes.

agree spitfire and he continues to support his trainers and runs his horses in all grades.
The only complaint is his loyalty to Hills which imo he would of had many more big race winners with another jockey.
Hills can win when he’s on the best horse but rarely makes a horse win if that makes sense.
