Inspection called for 7am… Touch and go by the sounds of it.
September 5, 2008 at 19:18 #179590I’d be interested to see how Ginge has this race priced up. Soft ground makes a big difference to my prices.
My prices to beat as follows to 100%
6/4 New Approach
7/4 Duke Of Marmalade
15/2 Multidimensional
20 King Of Rome
50 Mores Wells
50 Red Rock Canyon
66 Lord Admiral
100 She’s Our Mark
150 Traffic GuardMultidimensional looks cracking value at over 15/1 on betfair.
September 5, 2008 at 20:18 #179596Crazy going ons with the Multidimensional price.
Stan James go 16/1 which seems to be the best of the bunch. All others go 14/1. Ladbrokes go almost half of everyone else at 9/1!
I’ve had a nibble on Multidimensional at 16/1 EW and think that’ll come in
September 5, 2008 at 23:53 #179620Can’t see racing going ahead in Leopardstown tomorrow, torrential rain since 10pm this evening in Dublin.

September 6, 2008 at 01:26 #179627Mores Wells appeals at a nice price granted racing goes ahead on bottomless ground.
The horse is in good heart and could well captalise on any bellow par performances for whatever the reason ( ground with DOM, age with NA! )
September 6, 2008 at 13:37 #179672News coming out that Seamy Heffernan will be on board DoM if racing is on tomorrow!
Murtagh will be on HTN in France
September 6, 2008 at 15:36 #179683Correction…
DoM out of the race!
NA 8/13 favourite
September 6, 2008 at 18:54 #179740I like she’s our Mark, she loves soft ground.
September 7, 2008 at 11:43 #179819If back to his best NA will saunter away with this so value looks in finding an ew bet. Mores Wells who likes the track and ground & Multidimensional who also goes on the ground appeal most.
September 7, 2008 at 13:34 #179841Now it’s the case of New Approach and Kevin Manning not exactly competing with any opponent on their target. Now it becomes the case of New Approach’s biggest danger being … New Approach.
And the record is 0-1.
You’d be hard pressed not to rate New Approach at odds-on but the 4/7 is worthless IMO. He has to win this by upwards of 4-5 lengths and possibly more to prove what is expected and anticipated of him.
I’m surprised I cannot see any of the Red Rock Canyon followers out tooting their horns today. It’s a good day to be alive methinks – I don’t necessarily expect him to run a tempo for King Of Rome and his form in softer conditions is very good.
He’s 66/1 at Ladbrokes and an E-W ticket will suffice.
September 7, 2008 at 13:35 #17984325-1 on Paddy Power now! Makes you think that someone knows he’s going to be racing today.
Interesting place chance
September 7, 2008 at 14:11 #179849My ratings
149 new approach
139 moress wells
135 multidimentional
132 king of rome
131 lord admiral
120 traffic guard
118 shes our mark
117 red rock fcanyonwill back new approach
September 7, 2008 at 14:12 #179850I’ve avoided NA in this now.
Multidimensional EW for me
September 7, 2008 at 16:02 #179876Perfection there from NA. Slotted in perfectly, didnt fight for the head and Manning rode superbly.
RRC looked like a proper Grp1 horse coming off the bend there and I really hope AOB runs RRC in a strongly run mile in group company before the year is out.
Multidimensional ran on well but may have needed slightly heavier ground to show the best here.
September 7, 2008 at 16:06 #179879Perfection for New Approach?
September 7, 2008 at 16:14 #179882Perfection for New Approach?

Haha you know what I mean, for New Approach that was a very good run.
Not talking through my pocket either as 8/13 was unbackable for me.

I would venture that was one of his worst efforts of the season despite the win. Was still keen today, and for a moment looked like he might run off when Manning gave him his head after just a furlong.
All out to beat some average types….in no way could I describe it as "perfection".
