    I’m a fraction concerned about New Approach. Ok he won on Sunday but he hasn’t reproduced his Guineas or his Derby running IMO this despite settling better and being raced more handily. He’s run a good four or five pounds below his classic form.

    Not too sure exactly what to make of him at the moment. I don’t think he’s incapable of winning of an Arc but he’s not in the form to do so at the moment and I’d prefer to be looking at Zarkava and Soldier Of Fortune.

    I think he’s still on his way back from injury really Ian in all fairness to him

    I hope Bolger does send him to the Arc but he did say ‘NA will have two more runs this year’ before the Juddamonte so really that should be that now.

    This is Bolger though…

    Connections of Papal Bull were horrifies to see Ryan Moore ease up Papal Bull in France and lose second place close home. They had purchased him to win a Group 1. The winner that day was subsequently disqualified and so Papal Bull would have gotten his Group1 certificate before retiring to stud.Moore will not ride the horse again.
