i was lucky last year and backed Kauto Star at 7/1 after Denmans win because of ladbrokes price was 3 points above the others and thought that at least he would run again the following year.
but this was a rare judgement issue on by me,usually i would wait nearer the race.top class performance by a top class horse.
race plan went perfect,just surprised other runners allowed this to happen so easily.
agree about parade’s,surely in fairness New Approach should have gone down first.
this race shows when everything falls right for a horse,how good they are.
But as we know it’s a rarity.my ratings

As for Zarkava; I know it’s all about personal opinions – but I reckon she would have given any filly in the last 40 years a race – and would probably have beaten them. Allez France, Dahlia, Pebbles, Oh So Sharp, Ouija Board, Bosra Sham, Indian Skimmer et al. That’s what I think anyway – and I saw all those fillies race.

she overcame a bad draw a poor start and then bumped and pushed around, still managed go and win easily.
to witness a horse live up to the hype cast upon her, no superlatives can be great enough.
she has set a modern standard that all future stars will be measured by.my ratings

Wondered how you have three pounds between Henry and Raven’s Tenbob? Surely on form ratings it should be closer than that? Raven’s is getting closer with every run.

If a horse wins a group 1 and then subsequantly wins another couple of group 1’s without showing the same form. Should he be rated higher after those two wins? (not talking about todays race).
