At least that’s concrete info Gareth.
We have Rainbow View involved in a scary drift, Rip Van Winkle standing on a stone and Delegators trainer praying for rain and probaly wishing he had left Croded House in.
Thank gawd we got a good jumps meeting over the next couple of days
April 28, 2009 at 08:31 #224044Heart Shaped would be a nice bet without the Fav.Normally Aidan’s fillies keep improving.
April 29, 2009 at 16:49 #224316Fantasia a non runner !
Surprise, surprise.

May 2, 2009 at 23:14 #225179Think Pirsuit Of Glory @ 40-1 is very much overpriced in the 1000 guineas as is Nashmiah @ 25-1. Barry Hills filly Ghanaati @ 16-1 interests me a lot, he really likes her and barry had the similarly bred Maids Causeway who almost won this 2005. I backed serious attitude a while back @ 8-1 and where I still like her, I have a feeling that with Rainbow View and Cuis Ghaire in the field that there could be a fast pace. So I have:
1pt win Serious Attitude @ 8-1
1pt win Ghanaati @ 16-1
1pt win Nashmiah @ 25-1 and
1/2 pt e/w Pirsuit Of Glory @ 40-1May 3, 2009 at 00:23 #225205don’t leave JB out of the reckoning for this race. His Moineach already beat Heart Shaped.
May 3, 2009 at 04:19 #225240As I don’t follow the Flat so closely can someone explain why Pursuit Of Glory is 40/1 rather than around 16/1 which you could argue would be a more realistic price based solely on form?
May 3, 2009 at 04:27 #225241Have backed Ghanaati ew. Seems like a decent ew price.
May 3, 2009 at 05:08 #225244Pursuit of Glory, on jockey bookings is arguably Wachman’s number one.
However, I personally like the look of Pennys Gift at 100/1 and Devotee at 50/1
Rainbow View will win so both of those are speculative EW bets
May 3, 2009 at 17:34 #225320Bollox to it, I’m goin to have half a point e/w on devotee at 66-1 aswell.
If I was to lay one it would be Lahaleeb, I dont really see her going well on this ground.
May 3, 2009 at 18:09 #225326Heart Shaped and Pursuit of Glory are both a little overpriced at 18 and 50 imo. Although I do hope Rainbow View can become as good as she looked last year, she really is a potential superstar.
May 3, 2009 at 18:14 #225328After looking a them going down on the tv and Rainbow View is doing her usual sweating up, but Lahaleeb looked to have a nice action.
Rainbow View (2pt Win @ 4/5)
Lahaleeb (1/2pt e/w @ 14/1)
Aspen Darlin (1/4pt e/w @ 40/1)
Wow a maiden runner wins the Guinnea’s, and Rainbow View looked beaten very early in the race..well done Barry Hills
May 3, 2009 at 18:26 #225330That was some performance by the winner there, I continue to love giants causeways at 1 mile and there should be some amount of decent 2yos coming through by him this year.
Interestingly both guineas winners were Northern Dancer/Mr Prospector Crosses.
I didnt want to leave her out of the equation as she reminded me a bit of maids causeway and barry really seemed to like her.
Well done Moehat, thats two guineas winners in two days…
