That’s because the only people I told was Carv and Equi.
Now end it and in future please don’t get involved in any disputes I may have with a fellow member unless you are officially made a moderator
Thank you
Fist
Can’t understand why you did not give Corm the real reason for your absence, but that’s entirely up to you.
Please, stop this petty hard done by stuff and stop trying to silence me.
I will defend anyone I see fit to do so Fist, you do not have to be a moderator to do that. I showed how value punters like TAPK can appear to change their minds on things. I also said TAPK was (imo) wrong to say Fist had **** for brains. I do try to be fair.If you don’t like my posts just ignore them Fist. Like most people do.

Now can we please get back to the thread subject matter?

If I was trying to silence you I would and it would look like an accident

As far as getting back to the original subject of the thread is concerned that was already done until you in your wisdom decided to do another copy and paste and highlighted it again.
Your a weird fooker at times but the place wouldn’t be the same without you.
As I was saying before I was rudely interupted.

Did anyone read anything about some amazing gallop Rainbow View is supposed to have done?. A friend I spoke to today who has his goolies on her was raving about it today.

I think something was said during the Craven meeting, Fist, but I have my doubts as to how well she has trained on. Fantasia put in a serious performance at Newmarket and if John Gosden really believes that Rainbow View has her beat in spite of it, she’d surely be much shorter than she is.
Serious Attitude is still my main interest in the race and, unless Fantasia is declared to run, I can’t see that changing (sparkling work or not).
April 25, 2009 at 02:07 #223492Okay Fist, this is from the Racing Post website. I don’t think it really says anything. There is a piccy to go along with the story. RV is wearing a really natty sheepskin breastgirth, if you’re into that kind of thing.

Guineas favourite View works ‘extremely well’
By Tony Elves 10.52AM 23 APR 2009FAVOURITE Rainbow View went "extremely well" during her penultimate piece of work before Sunday week’s Stanjames.com 1,000 Guineas on the Al Bathari polytrack in Newmarket.
The 5-4 favourite for the first fillies’ Classic worked over a mile in company with a lead and left her trainer satisfied that he has the George Strawbridge-owned filly exactly where he would want to be with race ten days away.
John Gosden, said: "She went extremely well and I am very happy with her. "
The unbeaten three-year-old had worked on Limekilns short gallop on Sunday morning and will work again before the 1,000 Guineas but Thursday morning would have been one of her most searching tests.

Thanks bundles Gerard.
Wouldn’t it be nice if AOB would let us all know how his are doing> He probably will but after the 2000 Guineas

In an interview with RTE Aidan said that they are all nice horses and that he has always thought a lot of them. He likes them a lot and they are working very well at home. However, it’s hard to know what trip they would be best at as they all show so much speed that they could run in the Nunthorpe but also they all have enough stamina for the Ascot Gold Cup!

Looking on exchanges this morning there is an alarming drift…almost 4/1 and you cannot lay her at less than 10. Looks ominous.
April 27, 2009 at 11:06 #223835"Not impressive in her final gallop and failed to sparkle. Encouraging gallop from Fantasia, mind blowing breeze for Serious Attitude.
Expect rapid changes in the betting market this morning.
Chris"

April 27, 2009 at 12:49 #223842back into 3/1 – 10/3

It’s so easy to spread rumours one way or another these days and punters are often like sheep.
A couple of weeks ago I was told from a normally reliable source that Murtagh would ride RVW in the 2000 guineas. Within 12 hourse he was subject to a gamble then 2 days later his stablemate Mastrcraftsman was subject to another gamble. Then RVW seems to hav been backed again.
I wouldn’t pay much attention to anything until John Gosden makes a definite announcment.
April 27, 2009 at 14:48 #223854Rainbow shines despite drift
1 hour ago
Ante-post 1000 Guineas favourite Rainbow View is reported to have come through a workout this morning in fine form despite taking a walk in the market on the betting exchanges.
John Gosden’s charge has been all the rage for the fillies’ Classic since her unbeaten juvenile campaign but drifted markedly on Betfair this morning while sponsors Stan James have suspended betting.
However, Gosden’s racing secretary Peter Shoemark is surprised by the drift considering her pleasing workout on the Al Bahathri gallop and said: "She is fine and worked very well this morning so we don’t know where it has come from."

April 27, 2009 at 17:26 #223882The whole things is a bit bizzare. Is it possible a bookie threw in a couple of bob at a high price so they could all use it as an excuse to suspend the market for some kind of reason ? ( Advertisment/attention perhaps, or to get people to put money on other horses ? )
I don’t see why it’s suspended because it was laid out for about a tenner at 8/1. It’s back on and it’s (RV) heading towards evens.

Apparantly someone was a laying her at 4 o’clock in the morning. The sum 8k is mentioned. Seems like a fairly average sum can upset Betfair’s odds very easily, when you are all sleeping.
Maybe it was me
April 27, 2009 at 21:22 #223954Needless to say, this was one drift I wish I was awake for
