    :

I am sick to death of seeing my name in your posts and I am asking you nicely to cut the crap, Your a walking fantasy and the rudest poster I have ever come across.

FIST, You got the message at last! I would have to try a lot harder to beat you for being the rudest poster on here, whats worse is you obviously cant
absorb whats in the post, i suggest you start from the beginning of my
Cheltenham Gold Cup thread and read every page! Try reading down
page 4 of it, that will confirm the "Kings" foresight! You Dummy!

Sure mate I’ll do better I’ll put your posts on here and we can all have a laugh: Let’s start with some good afte timing and whereyou changedthe word seek for wreakin the above post

Having backed Denman Ante-post for the 07 Sun alliance ch at 7/1 and the 08 Gold Cup at 10/1 i could be bias to the Champ! But i am of the opinion that Kauto Star ran below his best in Denmans Gold Cup and believe that on Good/soft ground Kauto will seek his revenge on his stable companion! Neither appeal as Ante-post propositions as i believe in the
Young pretender Albertas Run at 33/1 to be placed and i know his season will be geared to getting to the Gold Cup! Thats how highly he is regarded
    by connections!

Then you wrote this crock after I suggested everyone take the 6/4 for the King George

FIST, on last years King George performance,Kauto star would be a 4/7 chance for this years race, even accounting for the likes of Tidal bay and Voy por running. On what he has achieved since he should be at least 5/2 and i for one still dont fancy him! For those that do, i believe that this years King George is the most important race on Kauto"s agenda his whole season is geared around it, so those that think he wasn"t 100% fit on saturday have the hope that he will be bang on for 26th of Dec, on the other hand running horses "short" can do more harm than good especially
    when pressure is applied

    .

Then we got another fancy in this post you compare to what? Kauto? oh no now it’s Denman

Star de mohaison has serious Gold Cup claims on that performance
yesterday, but the horse has always been rated by connections as a serious contender, he will defineately improve for that run too,No Denman
    though!

The we got back to fantasy world

Having just finished a celebratory bottle of "RD" to myself and having watched the re-run of the King George for the 5th time, i am sure
"Albertas Run" is closing the gap between himself and "Kauto" every time i watch it! The real "Albertas" turned up today on a track that doesn"t suit
over his minimum trip, come Cheltenham in March over a trip much more to his liking around his favourite course on good ground he will be a threat
    to all!

Then it seems you were swinging back to Denman saying Kauto will get a lot closer

Sam Thomas, will ride the race exactly the same as last year, "Kauto" will finish a lot closer on better ground, but will never beat a 100% "Denman"
My pal "Albertas" will love the race on good ground and is still the "Dark
horse" of the race and "Exotic dancer" is still more than capable and is 80"s on Betfair at the moment! (wont be after tomorrows lexus)!

    Yet again:

but "Albertas run" will stay a lot further than "Kauto star" will,
Cheltenhams stiff 31/4m will see the gap between them narrow far more
than you realise! "Albertas" is still improving and if he gets his ideal good ground he will quieten quite a few on here!

Then we have this great piece of insight

It must be something like 10th time lucky for Exotic to beat Kauto and yet it would be no surprise to me if he finally does! I hope for Denmans sake he (Denman) does not turn up for the race, i still cant believe that was the same physical specimen that ran in the Aon at Kempton, to the horse that won the Gold Cup, i would like to see him rested for another tilt next season!

Then we are back to the aftertiming and your great judgment

Denman owes me nothing, having backed him Ante-post for both his festival wins at 7/1 and 10/1 respectively! He is 7/1 again and i wouldn"t
touch him with a barge pole, that Kempton run still bothers me, nothing
from parade ring to winners enclosure via his actual performance showed
me anything anywhere near the Real Denman and i would be amazed if
he could come back from that, this season!

The all of a sudden we get more aftertiming

FIST, i am licking my wounds, but you only have to read what i wrote on Nov 9th last year to realise you are not the only one who knows his stuff! i was looking for a horse who could lay it down to the 2 champs and i failed
to find one, i am happy with the result as it proves the 3 best chasers in the country finished in the correct order! for the record i backed Exotic at
65 to win and 14 to place so still made a profit! I wont give up on Albertas
run and wouldn"t be surprised to see him win the Betfred at Sandown

I wish I had your judgment King  Have a look at this post of mines and compare it to yours:

I can’t see past Kauto Star Denman Exotic Dancer and Neptune Collonges and see no reason why they wouldn’t send the horse (Denman) even if he was oly 95% right. Another run certainly won’t so him any harm

    .

Oh my the first 4 in the correct order…..and I’m the plonker

    Fist,

When I pointed out apparant contradictions in your posts about Kauto Star; before the Betfair Chase, after it, and before the King George you went ballistic saying I should not have done so. This probably played a significant part in your unforced absence.

So why is it o.k. for you to do the same to TAPK?

It is a bit hypocritical, don’t you think.

Though you were provoked by TAPK, the comment about something for brains was uncalled for, even if it was meant as a tongue in cheek comment.

TAPK is probably a VALUE punter and I do not see much wrong with what he said apart from the comment above.

I myself was against Kauto Star for this years race and said so on posts early on in the season. With doubts about going left handed and the ground (if it turned soft again) the price was not worth a bet (in Dec, Jan or Feb). I had made a case for both Neptunes Collonges and Exotic Dancer.
Yet on the day the going was fairly good and Kauto Star was available at 9/4. So, even with my doubts about going left handed; considering Denman had it all to prove, after his injury / reappearance, Kauto I thought had a better than 31% (9/4) chance; so backed it as a saver bet.

So with value punters it may seem we are against a horse one minute and for a horse the next.

Well done for getting the one two three right Fist. Though they were arguably the best three horses in the race (with fourth home Neptunes possibly alongside Exotic as third best).

Nearly every thread in this section has been descending into this sort of crap recently. As much as I love national hunt, AFAIK neither Kauto Star, Denman or Albertas Run et al. are running in this year’s 1,000 Guineas

Here here Imperial Call, its fairly unnecessary, I realise that GWILSON77/Theantepostking has been the main protagonist in trying to wind up fists, anywhere and everywhere on the forum, and fists is merely replying as he sees fit. However, it started getting old some considerable time ago, so I suspect I’m not alone when I say I dont want to see anymore of it.

So, lets draw a line under this here and now, as I suspect the mods will have to step in if it continues much longer.

Now, back to the 1,000 guineas…

I’m with Bulwark on this one – as fun as it is you two winding each other up over Binocular/Kauto Star etc. after about the end of March it got a bit tedious.

New aliases should mean a new leaf – now the 1000 Guineas, lets get this over with so I can start my Grande-Steeplechase De Paris thread :)

Of course people have the right to change thir minds but I never did I? and it was the 1234 I got right

Actually I thought of that old post myself Ginge but when I thought about it I thought this guy has posted one abusive post after the other for weeks now. His constant name calling seems to have gone unnoticed by the moderators or that he is a 100% troublemaker.

So after reading another stupid post this morning I thought stuff it I would show him up for what he is.

If you look back hi posts and mines you will find I have asked him nicely to stop his crap and leave my name out of every second post he amkes, but he just keeps doing it. I don’t enjoy being called Dumb and Dumber or being told to change my name to Walter Mitty etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

When unnamed singled me out I had never said a bad word to him and he was totally out of order.

So I am saying it again this guy dooesn’t belong on this forum. He’s abusive beyond belief and if he doesn’t stop immediately I will have no alternative to report his abuse.

To set the record straight I left the form because I was moving home to complete a job and start another 2 houses one of which will be called Zarkava  Bog all to do with what anyone said to me on here. I am back in Bangkok until te middle of May after which time I will be gone again. It’s 100’s of miles outside the city and the internet connection is crap.

So don’t assume you know me and how I think Ginge and really what is your point here?. Once again you are playing the cop role and I find that very patronising.

Having said that I have no desire to continue this argy bargy with this guy.
I apologies to anyone I have upset but no way am I going to sit back and accept dailly abuse from anyone, least of all a self appointed AP aftertiming king.

I couldn’t do so before but I just looked at Serious Attitude who seems a really nice sort not surprised she’s second fav. Whether she is good enough to win a classic is hard to judge but her form has had several boosts and is obviously very useful.

Looking at the prices she started at last seasonin her three races it would seem connections were perhaps hopeful she would win her races rather than mega confident. That in turn could be a pointer to her rate of improvment being very high.

I think she’s a worthy 2nd fav and could even upset the fav if the improvement has continued. I noticed she was being ridden very confidently in all 3 races and that’s always a good poiinter to a very good horse.

Right now I am between Serious Attitude, Rainbow View and Shimah (backed) to fill the first 3 places. With Shimah’s trainer seemingly very quite and Betfair having her at 31 I can only hope she will turn up.

Fair comment Irish, Bul and Ginge, but all i have ever done is respond to
a Bully who thinks he knows more than anyone else on this forum and when someone dissagrees with him, his response can be quite cutting
to put it mildly! Carvills was the first to see through him and Fists attempt
to make me look stupid has done nothing but make me look like someone who actually knows what he"s talking about! I am the first to say Albertas run let me down in the Gold cup but like i said from Day1, i was looking
to find a horse that could threaten Denman/Kauto who subsequently did finish 1st and 2nd, I did put up Albertas run at 50/1 for the King George
so he wasn"t a complete disaster to me! I also put up Exotic Dancer at
65 for the Gold Cup and 14 for a place, again making me a profit on the race! I only had 2 horses in the Gold Cup and they were both J,J O"
Neills! I have backed Calgary Bay for the 2010 Gold Cup and Michael Dhageunet for the 2011, just to let you know i"m not aftertiming! Anyway
if its bothering you guys i shall make an exception and leave the Bully alone from now on!

    Aaaaaaaaanyway.

I’ve just backed Lahaleeb at 18.5 on Betfair. After improving with racing at 2, and who has proved that she’s trained on by winning on Saturday. I’d much rather be on a filly that has proven herself at 3, than a much shorter price 2 year old.

    Sorry Fist,

I thought Corm told us you did not want to post on here because you were fed up with the way you had been treated. Did not realise it was just to do with moving house.

Won’t respond to your underlined question, as it may provoke things further.

Just to add, when I see any member’s knowledge or consistancy being (as I see it) unfairly challenged (whether that is TAPK, yourself or anyone) I feel the need to step in.

When did Corm say that Ginge? I remember Corm saying he wished he’d handled that thread better but dont think he got into specifics. Anyhoo, thats ancient history, and it isnt great (then as now) when the forum drifts away from discussion and gets personal on occasion. So better to just draw a line under it and crack on with the 1,000 gns discussion IMO, and leave personal stuff for the personal messages facility.

Ginge gets confused Bully all this figures cloud his judgment sometimes

All’s fair in love ‘n war.

This thread might not be as assumtively bullish as I first thought. More or less saying that Rainbow View has a Master Minded chance of winning.

Apparatly she did a sparkling piece of work and there’s mega confidence behind her. I could have swore I caught a glance of an article on the Sporting Life website this morning but it seems to have gone.

Anyone read anythingor am Iosing the plot?

Corm said on the Fistwatch thread, "I’m afraid Fist has indicated to me that he’s no longer going to post on the forum". (Still on the archive).

Considering the thread and time this post was written I put two and two together and made four (I think).

Corm did not say "Fist is taking a break because he is moving house".

    Bullwark,

I agree, I don’t like to see the forum / threads getting in to personal stuff which is why I defended TAPK when I did. Now let’s draw the line.

Now end it and in future please don’t get involved in any disputes I may have with a fellow member unless you are officially made a moderator

    Thank you

When I wrote the first posting on this thread, as a relative newcomer, I was trying to ape the style of FistOfFury2K08 and GNWilson77.
