Hard to forget she is an extremely talented filly. At least on the back of 2008.
May 5, 2009 at 17:18 #225795Can we take it from what we have heard in the last few days we will not see rainbow view on firm ground again.
May 5, 2009 at 18:19 #225811It looked plain obvious to me that Rainbow View didn’t really act on the ground.
Then maybe you could explain why she finished better than almosy every other runner – on ground she didn’t act on?
She appeared as though she was uncomfortable running on the firm ground but her class and determination brought her through in the closing stages. This might sound like a potty explanation but her running action seemed, theoretically, like a hand trying to fit inside a glove that didn’t really suit.
Does anyone get my drift?
May 11, 2009 at 15:37 #226913Elusive Wave won today under different tactics to those which saw her beaten by proportional at longchamp. I’m still inclined to believe that Elusive Wave is the better of the pair at 1mile, and I’ll probably be taking Elusive Wave in the Pouliches if she’s a backable price.
Would fancy Proportional more for the Diane.
Elusive Wave would also look a better candidate for newmarket, and considered backing her for it a few weeks ago, but her price was massive enough on the exchanges to suggest she isnt running at Newmarket.
Bul, go to bed! where on earth do you get the notion that Elusive could beat Proportional in a rematch! Proportional toyed with her in the Boussac!
How the hell was she ever 5-1? was what I was asking myself…. - AuthorPosts
