Won quite easily, could be a smart horse. Stack has 3 other runners today but think Wannabe Better is his best hope.
Hi Sam, yeah I look at it now and again but thought I’d post as I quite fancy this Great Minds today, Stack is 1 from 1 so far and has some live chances today.
Deegan has been in stunning form of late but I think anything Tommy Stack sends out at this time if the year is worth a punt so my hard earned will be going on Great Minds. Lightly raced back end of mast season and his two seconds were decent form. Love the start of the season at the Curragh but a real minefield to pick winners!
I’m not really bothered about all the rule changes, it is still an institution and I for one get very excited for it and the challenge of picking the winner. It’s what racing’s all about for me.
That’s what they said about Auroras Encore! Pipe and Jonjo have live chances but still gave the suspicion Colbert Station will come good after a very poor season, just a question of whether AP will ride him or not. After the Irish’s demolition of the last day of Cheltenham I think they will take Aintree by storm culminating in an Emerald Isle winner of the National.
Forest Edge is overpriced I agree, his good winter may have burnt him out a little though. I never do very well at Meydan either, but World Cup night is something special so worth a few punts! I think my treble is speculative to say the least, but if it came in would be a good start to the season! I love this time of year when the flat is brewing up and still top quality racing over the sticks with Aintree and Punchestown coming up.
Fancy Farraaj today, Brownsea Brink in the Lincoln and Star Empire in the World Cup. £5 treble returns just over £6500.
What a ride by Davy Russell, incredible. Jim Culloty is a master.
I’m on Lord Windermere and Katenko each way. Bobs Worth isn’t bombproof.
Wetak for me, very much a dark horse. Nadiya de la vega as well.

My horse ran a screamer, but Dynaste a worthy winner.
HUGE cheer in the office when the Warhorse started to wear down Champagne Fever, traders hugging each other, people declaring undying love for Tom Scu…incredible scenes.
Best moment of Cheltenham for me so far!
Cost me a small fortune so worst moment for me I’m afraid! Are you a bookie lover TYF?!
On this ground I think Somersby has a live chance.
Coral going 4/1 on SDG from half 8 tomorrow.
Think TNO would’ve got there without the interference, let’s hope Our Conor is OK. Jezki did it well, MTOY didn’t find much, HF outpaced by younger legs.
Just witnessed a special horse I think.
Yes I think he and TNO will provide Twisters with winners next week…
Splash Of Ginge is a long term National horse, so whatever he does now is a bonus. Can’t see him winning this, but could place, very good front running horse, reminds me of Hello Bud.
Quite keen on Josses Hill for win purposes, think he has all the right credentials and a fair price too. Irving big lay for me I’m afraid.
