Looking for a bit of value I’ll go for True Story at 14s, Fallon is too experienced and knowledgable to be a bad judge of horse and he gave glowing reports in the Spring. Surely he’s much better than his dull run in the Dante and think the Derby was a bit too far. Think back on faster ground he will go close.
Draw is the only concern but all depends on the race itself, if Oisin can get a good pitch she’ll run well regardless.
Keep the faith Sam this is a good thread, the winners will return.
I quite like Wind Fire tomorrow at Sandown.
I’ll opt for Wind Fire, two from two at Sandown, beating the smart G Force last time. This is a step up but think she can prevail.
Van Percy is an improving sort and did it nicely last time in a competitive race, and should hold form with Tropical Beat. Don’t think trip would be a worry as there is stamina on the dam line, but if the ground softens up that could be more of a concern.
Johnston just had another winner, his horses are coming to hand nicely.
No didn’t back it Sam but Varian continues his good form, he is having a very good season.
Next port of call for me is the Northumberland Plate, will wait to see how the ground changes but think Oriental Fox has a decent chance, he was very unlucky last year and if there is a bit of cut he will be up there again despite a higher mark.
I’m not betting til Sat but Roger Varian is worth following at Windsor so his Classical Art should go close, Fallon an interesting booking too.
I thought this had morphed into a TAPK thread for a minute then!
They should be for £20 a month!
A 4/1 fav in a 30 runner sprint is ridiculous….very happy with my Rivellino, think he could’ve got closer if in the stands group too.
Rivellino looks a big price at 33s after his good AW exploits, drawn down the middle but could get to the stands side to mount an attack. Looks unexposed back on turf and ran a nice debut at Ascot behind Moohaljim, who was a group one performer last year. Closely related to Alben Star and Hoof It on form but looks an improving horse.
I’m on holiday then Sam but hope to get to Chester before the seasons out.
Keep the faith with the bets, I fancy WINDFAST in the Jersey tomorrow at 33/1.
Not convinced Sole Power needs it that quick these days so on genuine good ground I think he’ll take the beating. I don’t think Hot Streak will reverse the Palace House form so 9/2 will go for the Power.
3 year olds don’t have a great record in this so my two against the field are season campaigners Sole Power and Shea Shea who have previous in this race. With the ground likely to be on the soft side of good I’ll give the Irish horse the nod.
She looks a bit like Karen Brady, probably a better tipster too than poor old Liz!
Cool I’m from Wrexham…yeah having a good look at the paddock is very insightful, I need to get back to the course more!
Are you from Chester Sam?
