I really didn’t see it with CHAMP but today i was impressed, Everything went wrong for him, albeit his own doing, But to fly home like that shows a very good animal! I suppose were all taking different interpretations of that race so i can understand the arguments against him. This i do know..flat aint got anything on NH!

Im backing BORICE for the win. His plate win was impressive. He looked like he weren’t up for it 2nd to last but he absolutely flew through the finish line.

This seems to be the target (as it is with alot of them) but he looks like he will stay quite comfortably 16/1 EW

If the rain comes this week, Which ive seen/heard it is then ill be jumping on ELEGANT ESCAPE, The man at the course seems to think its good to soft at the moment, So if it gets worse im happy to have a battle hardened land rover in there.

Too right, The form seems to get worse. Unlike the JLT. Im still very happy to keep FAKIR DOUDAIRES though, I feel he has a great deal of pace for this and ill be interested in his next run. Nothing from the English trainers yet for me. I did like the chase debut of BREWIN’UPASTORM. It was suggested he wasn’t that ready for a run, Yet still won and showed a good pace, 2nd and 3rd have gone on to run creditable runs since aswell. At this moment in time i would say id have a bit of each way on him.

I know he hasnt beat much yet but FURY ROAD looks a proper stayer, He won today at a canter 2m 4f soft ground looked no trouble..With the after race comments aswell, I would say there is only one main nag Elliot should send here.

“He could step right out to three miles if we wanted, and he jumps very well.

“He could go for the three-mile race at Limerick or the Lawlor’s race at Naas. He’s a big, staying horse.”

That JLT looks like cracking form these days, DEFI looks like he would absolutely smash a Ryanair to bits for me! I suppose the thinking is if Altior is going off to try a bigger distance then Defi will take over that division. I’d much rather see Defi go for the Ryanair as I think ALTIOR will return here come March

I think LAURINA looked good but there was a couple of ropey jumps from MINELLA INDONESIA to be fair, also if your looking at the Ariel For me FAKIR DOUDAIRES looks the best one for that so far

I kept eyes on that race today because i thought, Here we go Mullins got a monster he’s about to unleash over hurdles as it was well backed, But i didnt take much out of it. SIXSHOOTER has looked beatable to me and i thought it wouldn’t take much to do it. More impressed with THEBANNERKINGREBEL at Haydock today..Flew away from the rest after the last hurdle

I wonder if CYRNAME will go steaming out by 3-5 lengths and stay there again, That would make it very hard for ALTIOR at the end of the race. Im buzzing for this one

He has it entered but he’s also entered FURY ROAD & ABACADABRAS. The Royal Bond at Fairyhouse is the next step its been suggested, You would say that because the trip suited FURY ROAD on his last run that itll be him who runs at NAVAN.

Davy Russel after the debut of ENVOI ALLEN: “He showed a lot of pace there today. He wouldn’t want to be stepping up in trip too much for the time being. He’s very, very good.”
