I worked in Reading today it was wet and miserable. Same all week.
November 26, 2019 at 19:09 #1475949i agree a pretty poor renewal of this great race cant see any of these being capable of winning a future gold cup etc
still somethings gotta win it but at this stage I aint got a clue what.November 27, 2019 at 10:46 #1475970My 2 for this are Mister Malarky 20s and Ok Corral 6s.
November 27, 2019 at 15:44 #1475983Still need five to come out for Commodore to get a run!
November 27, 2019 at 19:11 #1475993No Peter, just two need to c9me out to get a run for Commodore.
I like him too
November 27, 2019 at 21:13 #1476003He actually only needs 1 to come out 👍
November 27, 2019 at 23:04 #1476007I had it in my head the safety limit was 20. Well then 24 is much more realistic!
November 28, 2019 at 12:27 #1476029Very pleased to see robbie power on west approach
November 28, 2019 at 13:24 #1476031I think I may just go for Yala Enki in this. As JJM has said he has been transferred to PN (not sure why) but Nicholls may get further improvement from the horse, although this may happen further down the line. But at odds of 25/1 I think he’s worth the risk.
November 28, 2019 at 14:00 #1476032Interesting jockey booking for Yorkhill. Brian Hayes got the yob Brahma Bull to jump nicely so he might hit it off with this one.
November 28, 2019 at 23:00 #1476054As much as I’m happy to see a full field this year, betting wise it’s tough, and everyone on the shortlist makes it. Minefield.
Looking for one to go with Dingo.
Struggling for the Annual Newbury/Cheltenham Double, and I’m torn between Borice and Cabaret Queen, but equally, I can’t rule out significant progress from the Tizzard pair (MM and WA) either, as far fetched as that sounds right now. With so many options there, perhaps I’ll have to give it a miss then this year.
Regal Encore makes it, and he picks himself at that price of 50’s. Expecting six places tomorrow, so I’ll hold off, but can’t believe that price.
Commodore was my other long term fancy at the entry stage, and thankfully, unlike Dingo, his price held. Unfortunately Daklondike is in there too at a price.
This is bloody tough.
Dingo Dollar 33’s EW
Regal Encore 6 places EW
Commodore or Daklondike 6 Places EWNovember 29, 2019 at 10:10 #1476068So far I have backed two in this BRAVE EAGLE at 50/1.He has a lot of weight but has won round here albeit over hurdles and coud be over priced!
The other one I have backed is ELEGANT ESCAPE at 12/1 which spud should be pleased with!! LOL
November 29, 2019 at 12:29 #1476073I would kick myself if Yorkhill won without me betting him, so I’ve taken 28/1 ew.
November 29, 2019 at 17:00 #1476101Yorkhill is by the same Sire as Denman so that’s something, I suppose..

Really can’t see Yorky doing anything here; hes off his head.
November 29, 2019 at 18:47 #1476118Gone for Borise here. A difficult enough race, but hoping he is the only one that still has a good few pounds in hand of his current mark. Totally convinced of it anyway.
GL all
November 29, 2019 at 19:55 #1476126Two Taffs. Off for a long time through injury, came back to finish just in behind The Worlds End and UNWIMH in a grade 2 hurdle.
Looked a promising type over fences beforehand and may have more to offer now over longer. Good to soft is what he wants.
Not a confident selection by any means but 16/1 tickles my vol-au-vents.November 29, 2019 at 20:45 #1476131Im backing BORICE for the win. His plate win was impressive. He looked like he weren’t up for it 2nd to last but he absolutely flew through the finish line.
This seems to be the target (as it is with alot of them) but he looks like he will stay quite comfortably 16/1 EW
