I’ve spent last 30 mins looking at this ….my head now hurts …lol going to sleep on the minefield
Cabaret Queen would be my main hope and 9/1 was far too good to pass up.
Commodore needs to improve for his run last time out, but I’m sure he has that in him. Happy to stick with what I’ve got on him.
Yala Enki ran a much better race in the Gold Cup than the bare result suggests and I was all over him for the National. I wasn’t so sure this would suit, but he’s a big price and I’ve covered him, just to be sure.
Not overly excited by the race this year. It would be some effort for Cabaret Queen to win off her mark for me and would elevate her to a level i think is beyond her, for all it’s not a great race.
Puppy a great booking for WA but at that price you’d have to take him on as well.
Proper JP drift on Ok Corral- they’ve won before when this has happened but it’s often a sign from those connections.Mister Malarky has course form, on a line through Now Mcginty holds a horse more prominent in the market- De Rasher Counter. Has Jonjo jr on board giving him 3pds in hand. Had a prep and hopefully will finish off the best of them all.

Footage of ok corrals racecourse gallop has come out and he looked awful so that probably explains the drift

Ok I normally look for a young improving chaser in this , I can’t really see 1 so I’ll stick with cd form , played elegant escape and dingo dollar plus I was really impressed with two taffs run over hurdles , travelled really well , it’s pays to be up the front here , rev forecast them to ,

Some Chaos 66-1, and Brave Eagle 50-1, both with 6 places will do for me. It’s such a good race this year that I’m happy just to have that pair for a bit of fun.
Took Mister Malarkey at 14/1 ante post, that doesn’t look too great now as he can be got
at 16s, Also took Borice at 16/1 (in ante post thread), he looks perhaps more likely now.

My two – OK Corral and Cabaret Queen – both ran shockers. At least Epatante got me out level.
Pleased for Emma Lavelle and her team, although I would have a quiet word with the young lad to only start celebrating after the line in future!

If Tizzard trains Elegant Escape like the 2020 Grand National winner, he will find that is exactly what he has in his yard. If he reverts to his ‘normal’ optimistic self and sticks the horse into every stamina trial that pokes its head up then he should save himself the long trip north in April
