BTW why has the "quote the entire previous post" virus infected this forum- it’s a bit tedious…..
Mainly because it’s bloody hard work not to!

It’s probably just frustration – imagine a life in which your preferred sexual partner has eight legs and excessive body hair.

With a bit of luck she’ll bite his head off soon.

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysProbably the first time she’s broke quickly, & she was on terms at the last bend (dog term I know!) when she was bumped by the horse inside her which pushed her into the one on the outside & she was bounced about between them. Once her chance had gone Adrian let her come home in her own time.
Just had an email saying she’s OK & may run again before Christmas.I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysBookmaking as such wasn’t illegal pre Betting Shops. It was taking cash that was illegal. All transactions were supposed to be on credit accounts.

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysThe former hurdler, Silver Wedge also lives there as a retiree – he too looks well and happy and it was really nice to hear of his whereabouts. Hopefully when we have a stable visit, the "official Forum photographer" will be present and able to post pics up of these two.
That’s good to hear, I’m looking forward to seeing him, he was a favourite of mine always genuine, Silver Wedge, I mean!

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysI would have thought in these days of computerised slips they would have to honour the bet?
If a bookie makes a rick he should live with it.
I presume you were not talking about a huge sum of money or else alarm bells would have rung in the clerks ears!

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysI always put racing on my CV along with darts, dominos, cribbage and most pub games. If people don’t like me the way I am, I don’t want to work for the narrow minded prigs.

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysGood jockeys are the same as good bricklayers; they make it look easy. You try it!
While it is true that there are many competent jockeys out there who could ride the everyday winners, finding a man with that little bit extra is more difficult. There is a fine line between a journeyman and a maestro. I believe this man is going to go home with a big bag of winnings (if he does go home). Good luck to him and all who follow his rides!
His record is in Oz is worth a look, if you don’t believe me, & it’s not an easy life out there.

I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysI fail to see how an industry SP will stop punters from being ripped off. Surely all that will happen is the middle men ie. the on-course bookies won’t have the influence, but we’ll be ripped off directly from the big 3?
