Have to agree and totally ignored my email requesting dates for next Years National so that I could book the days off work
Hate them even though I am a woman myself. There is no place in racing for a fashion show.
Have to disagree about Chester ladies day…….. mutton dressed as lamb comes t6o mind for both Chester and Aintree ladies days/Its a real shame to lose such a good jumper to a horrible freak accident.
RIP.[/code]
Very sad as it was a tragic accident. He ran into the running rails and fatally injured himself.
Very sad but was not due to a bad fall. The poor chap ruptured a valve on the right hand sid eof his heart. On this occasion something that could have happened anywhere but still very very upsetting to lose such a treasured friend to is all.
The BBC1 commentator who says "posi" insteaqd of the word position. Grrrrrrr
I am pleased to say that I was there.I had a choice to go to Lingfield or kempton and when I saw Tajree was running my choice was made for mke!!
She looked fantastic in the parade ring.I hope my photos of her coma out as well as these.
She was a little minx though wasnt she?Lol But she ran a brilliant race and very nearly finished third.

Pridwell when he beat Istabraq.
I hope this trend doen’t continue. As a lady who likes to go racing on her own I would feel very intimidated by this behaqviour.Having seen yobbish behaviour at White Hart lane years ago I vowed never to go and watch my team again. So far I have not witnessed this behaviour on a racecourse thank goodness but if I do it would stop me wanting to go in future.
Here’s wishing you a long happy retirement, richly deserved.
Absolutely.Brings tears to my eyes when he wins any Sporting Index chase. He owea us nothing and I want to see him retire in one piece.
Welcome Lochinver. It’s very upsetting when we lose any of our horses.I u8sede to check the point to point results in the Racinbg Post to see if they all returned safely but I cant find them now. What day do they print them?
hallo Dandy was with The Thoroughbted rehabilitation center. If we chose to write "sychophantic platitudes on the memorial site then that;s because we care and we are paying our respects to the horses we all admire.<br>I respect most peoples opinions on here even if they dont agree with ne but I fing Pugs andf Pogles comments innappropriate to the memorial part of this forum.Like you Quixall I repay the horses that give me pleasure by doating to the TRC and belonging to ILPH and Bransby’s.I also have an"expression of wish" clause to my company pension that if I die in their emplyment that money goes to 4 animal charities 3 of which are above.<br>
and also a big thank you to the veterinary staff for their care of the horses and to Charles Barnett for calling off the last race yesterday so that Graphic Approach could safely be attended too.Excellant.
That’s fantastic news Rory. Thanks a million for letting us know. But a bigger thank you to the Aintree vets and the college vets who got him bacfk on his feet again.:)
