    Suffered a fatal fall in the Grand National.

    It wasn’t a fall that caused it as he unseated Tom O’Brien. Apparantly it was caused when he was running loose.
    Such a shame as whenever a fatality occurs.

    RIP McKelvey. :(

    So sad – he looked magnificent before the race. Feel so sorry for everyone close to him who have nursed him back to health over the last year. He’s the one the viewers of "The One Show" have been following via his web-cam so hope that’s reported sympathetically next week …

    Very sad as it was a tragic accident.He ran into the running rails and fatally injured himself.

    My attention was drawn to McKelvey when i was watching the build up to the Grand National. Clare Balding was talking to one of the presenters of "The One Show" and they were discussing McKelvey and the stable web-cam that had captured his preparations. It was so upsetting to learn that he had been fatally injured. What a lovely horse he was, it’s so sad. RIP McKelvey x :cry:
