Nervous times for anyone who has backed Sizing Europe antepost for tomorrow-there is a doubt about him running.

Just a word of caution -Sizing Europe was a late withdrawal from that race last year.

You mean the most over hyped crock in many a long year?

Who hyped him -not the people who were following him from day 1 and had nice touches on him when he won at Newbury,Cheltenham & Leopardstown.A few journalists jumped on the bandwagon after the A.I.G. but thats only to be expected.

    2007

    8904 races inthe UK
lets say an average of 750000 grand matched in total per race
thats £6678000000 matched annually on UK racing

Betfairs profits on UK racing 40 million
    Betfairs profit on turnover 0.6%
[b:2r3yx3oi]i.e they give us a lot more back Barry.

    [/b:2r3yx3oi]

They also take a lot more out.

148 looks very high to me.I’d say he is sure to be aimed at the 4 miler.

Duke of Marmalade was retired to stud after the breeders. Soldier of Fortune is to be kept in training. In a way, suprised they are not keeping DOM in training as other than SOF, they dont have any decent middle distance horses. And i would hardly think he would be that much of a huge asset to have as a stallion looking at the others coolmore have.

You really don’t have a clue.

I would be a big fan of Matt Chapman for two reasons.Firstly he has a habit of getting trainers to give an honest opinion-he brings quality information into the public domain.Secondly -he can be very entertaining.I wouldn’t be a big drinker and I don’t know how many times I have watched him on Stateside without having a bet but at the same time really enjoying the show.
He is the one man that could transform Ch4 racing on his own.

I take festival wek off every year but in all honesty Cheltenham management had perfection and they have just messed around with it and diluted it.Thursday looks very weak in my opinion. My solution would be a 4 day festival from Tuesday to Friday-put the weakest 7 races on Fridays card-the equivalent of the old Ascot Heath meeting at the end of Royal Ascot week.
Chances of it happenng -about 10000/1.

I have been fairly lucky with his horses- I remember standing in a Kentish Town bookies roaring home Cool Jazz at 33s in the Diadem at Ascot.Won by a short head and a short head. Was an amazing result for me financialy at the time.

I wonder i he will join Todd Pletcher and be campagned on the west coast this winter, its not beyond reason.

I suppose there would be a slight possibility but I’d say they will want to run him as a 4yo at Ballydoyle.

Murtagh rides King of Rome on Sunday.Zulu Chief running in the Arc would be a strange move.

Don’t particularly like the 130 start-seems to be purely for the benefit of Ch 4.

The stewards need their heads examined for banning Baze.I would imagine any of the top American jocks would think twice about accepting an invitation next year.A quiet word in his ear would have done the job but some of these guys still believe there is an Empire.

I’d imagine you could create your own easily enough.I am no expert on excel but the filter function could tell you a lot.
