I have had a few bets all over the place for an early interest. I have bet Racing Demon, Denman and Missed That for the Gold cup. For the Champion Hurdle i have bet Harchibald and Sweet Wake and the Champion Chase i have bet Ashley Brook.

At Cashmans i have had an interest bet on Kicks for Free in the Supreme Novice and Leading Run and My Condor in the Sun Alliance Hurdle. I also have bet Conna Castle in the Arkle. I wish i could lay there quote of Cuan Na Grai at 6/1 fav for the supreme novice as he has already had a a hard season and i think he’ll fall short of top novice class.

I am a very big Deep Impact fan in todays Arc and think he will take some beating but i have 1 nagging worry. That worry would be Y Take, His performance in the Juddmonte last year on Zenoo Rob Roy keeps springing to mind. He was so weak in the finsh and i do believe any of the other jocks would got Zenno up that day. If it comes to a tight finsh with any of the jocks today i can’t see him outbattling them. I also remembering seeing him in the Shergar Cup this year and to be honest he wasn’t much better. Any Views?

I wouldn’t put that do to a bad run just yet, the winner could be quite decent and My Condor will strip alot fitter for the ran as he was completely running away with Ruby 2 out but just didnt get home.

As i said yesterday Kinane did nothing wrong! Fallon wudda done the same he wudda sat chilly and not burst the horse in the 1st 200 yards like a less experienced jockey may of done like ( Danny Grant on Ocean Pearl 2 saturdays ago) It was a flip start he started 2nd last drove the horse for the 1st furlong to sit 2nd horse had no kick left and finished beaten 15 lengths as a 8/13 fav) Its funny how some can change there Mind about a jockey so quickly, On wed He was a genius for his ride on Alexandrova but if he wudda been beat on her he wudda been a cu*t. I feel we all do talk through our pockets sometimes but any regular race fan can see Kinane is in the top 5 tops in Britain and Ireland easy.

Don’t lay winners and Don’t eat yellow snow!

Only messin well you should set yourself a level of between what prices you want to lay consistantly and if u wana lay them on the win or place market. If you want to lay big prices like 100’s ur gonna need a big bank. My own preference is to lay popular trainers that horses are false prices like O Brien and stoute in maidens and especially Stoute handicappers comin outta a maiden win.
(Edited by IRSHEYEZ at 10:49 pm on Aug. 27, 2006)
Suppose it does Itailian Girls form no harm with Silca Chiave beaten a head in the Moly Glare as Italian Girl beat her handily in her maiden win.

It def was the start that beat him as they say u can give away weight but not distance. Can’t blame Kinane he sat chilly after missing the break which many another less experienced jockey cudda burst him tryin to make the distance up at the start.

I Like the look of Alan Jarvis’s Italian Girl in the Prestige, She made a very impressive debut as she was well backed and found a bit of trouble but still quickened up well to win. Michael Tabor was also impressed becasue he bought her after the race. Cumin looks well short at 6/4 as i have backed her on every start and was glad to see her win the last day but she had the race run tosuit and won’t have it as easy today with Johnston’s filly leading.

I think Tommy Stacks Alexander Tango is overpriced in the Moly Glare today at around 12’s on betfair. She quickened up in her maiden very impressively and the last day she was tankin along 2 out but pulled too hard in the 1st half of the race to have a kick left at the end. She will come on for the run and she should at least reach a place.

I think Hills highly thought of filly Roclette is a big price to turn over Stoutes Leopard king in the 2.20 at Yarmouth. She has been very unlucky in her 3 starts with not 2 clear runs in her 1st 2 races and her saddle slipping the last day.

I think Gringo Could go well in the first as he’ll get his strong pace but u always worry if he’ll get a run or not because he’s always dropped out the back.

I havent been truly convinced with Sergenat Cecils atitude to win this year even tho he’s stepped up to Group Class. There sholudn’t be alot of difference in the race between him and Tungsten Strike but i have to side with Tungsten as he has won this year already.

I don’t think Soapy Danger will win as he’s had a very long season as he made his debut this year after all. I think Red Rocks may turn the tables on Papal Bull and looks a bet at 5’s.

No real inerset in the Juddmonte as Enforcer doesnt run, Dylan looks the only potential superstar but he looks short enuff droppin back down to 10 furlongs and may warrant a small lay.

Big Timer looks a real decent tool, I think he will win and will win convincely. Semple believes its the best by a mile he has ever trained and it wouldnt suprise me to see him pick up a group 1 in his career.

Dubai Builder could be in off a lenient mark in the Nursery. The 3 times he has ran he has been bet as if defeat is outta the question.
I think Andrew Balding’s Star Strider looks well in on 68 and was well fancied in a hot nursery at Goodwood. He wasnt given a hard time last day out and today shud be the day.
