Thank you Graham, yes indeed Bavaria and Nordrhein-Westfalen where I live are the German hotspots for Corona, but so far the curve at least could be kept quite moderate.
Yes I even bought the dvd of No Country.. to watch it in original language, I deliberately don’t say in English, as this Texan accent is quite special and really hard to follow..
Thank you for your recommendation, I will give this one a try
Thank you Jac, yes we are well fortunately, and I wish the same to you, yours and the whole gang here
Yes, so far our politicians do quite a good job surprisingly, but experts warn about the situation to probably escalate..March 30, 2020 at 01:33 in reply to: 2019-20 Ante Post Comp – Selections From 16 February Onwards #1486885
Now there are much more important things than racing, but I put some more quid on Pierre Lapin at 14/1 in the Commonwealth Cup
But of course this one is nothing for sensitive souls, as it is packed with breathtaking, very brutal scenes full of desperate violence
But well, that’s what American culture is all about
By the way dear folks, the best movie by the Coen brothers is undoubtedly “no country for old men”. Just to name the state of Texas like that can only come from such geniusses, and contentswise, what Mr Bardem does here as this massive psycho killer is second to none
Thank you so much, my big and favourite three
Very nice writeups from all of you
Lungs like bellows?!
Thank you so much Graham, I must say you are one of my favourite posters, as you have the rare quality to bring things very straight to the point
My lung’s volume is indeed more than 6 liters, and in those frickin’ times I can be very fortunate about it. By the way, regularity is key, as I’ve been doing this three times a week for the last 27 years.
If you really intend to come over after this frickin’ catastrophe will have passed I would give you a warm welcome at the airport, and then we can come to the heart of the matter, of course in an unsinkable gig boat first If Nate will join we can go for a skull four
Thank you dear Jac, but do not forget my beloved Father, as in less than a month he will turn incredible 85 years In his head and in his communication he is still younger than me
Sure I would gladly teach you some rowing, I am indeed a trainer in our little rowing club on the “Harkort See”, but firstly please learn the technique and stay safe and dry
Folks, I must admit I am quite shocked to read that my favourite posters Jac, Nathan and Graham resp. their beloved ones have some serious risks attached. So please pay very close attention to yourselves and your families and go through those terrible times in the best possible shape
I myself don’t give too much of a damn to my daily risk, as my lungs etc are very robust from 27 years of rowing, I just care for my parents, because agewise they are real oldies now, I love them so much and god bless them! So I must understand to only contact them via skype in these worrying times..
Thank you Jac
I’d also like to say to you and the gang to stay safe and sound in these currently worrying times. Take care of yourselves and look after your health, as this is the most important thing and greatest treasure
I’d like to say sorry to Ruby Walsh (not impossible he reads here?!) and particularly to the people who appreciate him here
Possibly he really is the great racing expert many people see in him , at least he has been in this business for so long to gain a rich treasure of knowledge
Or like the sadly passed away Kenny Rogers once sang:
Ruuuby, don’t take your love to town..
People are very sensitive these days, too sensitive imo..
Okay folks, then stick to seeing him as a national hero
Mucho Gusto with Norwegian Will? That sounds very good to me, as I reckon this time the horse will run on his own bill without any corruption (don’t we have a puke-button here, Mr Baffert?).
Mucho Gusto 20€ 4/1 almost invincible (in German we say unverlierbar )
The if is getting bigger, the Eye is not too likely to run here..
