Just my take but thought it was a terrible ride, he never learnt from the last time when she nearly got turned over at 2/5 winning by a very short margin, she does not quicken so why let it develop into a sprint?.
The horse is perhaps not good enough, time will tell but my fear of them playing jockeys came to fruition, he was taking a pull the whole way round instead of letting her get into any rhythm
The winner caught them sleeping up front

5/1 on Peaceful looks massive if she turns up, I don’t see why she wouldn’t. She wears her heart on her sleeve and the distance could be perfect for her.
I still believe Liberty Beach is a future group 1 winner, she needed holding onto longer the last time and with the speedball El Astronaute in this they’ll be no excuses this time around.
If the going is good or better than Siskin goes off odds on in the Sussex, he has been campaigned really well and not over raced after the problems of last season and hopefully they will reap the rewards of that

    5/1 PEACEFUL Irish Oaks £8.00

Shame about Bonne Idee Nathan haven’t seen the race yet but sounds like she wasn’t given the best of rides.

I too thought 5/1 was a massive price about Peaceful and just hope it wasn’t to draw people in. She has to do the extra distance which she will :good: and another Group 1 win is well in her grasp if she runs here..let’s hope she does..Jac :rose:

Yes, Jac, always that question mark Ante Post with O’Brien, my take on it is if he doesn’t run her she wouldn’t have won anyway. I think he has such a good string he enters them all then picks who he thinks is best for the job at the time. If she came out of the French race well I’d run her here if I trained her as she is the best of those entered. She already has a classic to her name and maybe they want another to win one, its all fun and games hence I don’t bet big….

One of my old favourites is back out today.
He ran well on his seasonal reappearance to suggest he can maintain his form
6F and Hamilton more up his street I think he can go closer today

Nathan, please don’t tell a Frankelyte that it wasn’t the horses’ fault, as he (or she  ) will easily believe you :-)

    I jumped in too quick
both Peaceful and Liberty Beach are non runners and Siskin now has Kameko to contend with
Siskin still wins it for me and I may go in again but near the off time…

I was disappointed with Mafia Power last time out but the run has been boosted when winner Zabeel Champion went on to win again recently in a decent enough field. I’ll give Hannon’s boy another chance here, he didn’t settle that well in that race at Newmarket in a small field but with this having 16 runners he should be able to find cover.

Hi Nathan, please allow me to give you my thoughts: Fortunately you didn’t lump on Mafia Power, as shortly after his owner had crashed deadly (rest in peace :rose: ) nothing went right for him anymore, and I also must say that deSousa rides his horses very primitively: Everybody knows what his only assets are, which is trying to dominate from the front, but “leider” (watch out, German word :bye: ) it doesn’t work out too well this season..

    Mafia Power returned £20.62

Fortunately I put on the extra 50p each way as was only going to bet the £4.00 in total
will treat myself to a bottle of Holstein Pils later on…. :yahoo:

I’ll recycle the 62p see if I can get myself a 4 pack
Happy Power slowly improving, only had Limato in front of him last time.
Both Lawahed and Cold Front have been hitting the bar ad have good chances of going better this evening

    9/4 HAPPY POWER 6.55 Haydock
    1/2 LAWAHED 7.25 Haydock
    1/1 COLD FRONT 7.55 Haydock

Was beaten LTO in a group 3 but the surface at Newcastle was riding slow so getting back on the turf will be a boost along with the step up in Trip and the weight for age concession gives Virgin Snow a fair chance of winning this.

Snowfall will make a better 3 y/o once stepped up in trip but still has enough ability to get off the mark at the 3rd time lucky.. She had no business finishing where she did on debut against a couple of decent sprinters in Frenetic and Mother Earth who have both looked good since. Snowfall was cantering all over the opposition 2nd time out before clipping heels and nearly going down ruined all chance. I think she will end up in group 1’s next season so will be disappointed if she can’t win this.

Looking forward to seeing these other two although I’m not as confident

Ridenza looks a big price, she was entitled to need the run LTO and ran well, she looks a classy sort who can build on that effort.

Watan back down to 6f was really good on debut but after that ran into many a good horse including Too Darn Hot on a couple of occasions, he could well need the run with it being his 1st of the year but at 12’s I’ll have a small play.

    13/8 SNOWFALL 2.00 Curragh £13.00
    12/1 WATAN 2.15 Newbury £3.00

You did well to get that price about Snowfall Nath! She is one of Aiden’s favourites apparently so should win. Best of luck mate. :good:

    Thanks Joni,
She was 5/2 very early Saturday morning but it didn’t last long.
She was a bit restless in the stalls and was slow away although soon made up the ground.
She is 50s with Skybet for next year’s Oaks, plenty of water to pass under the bridge and many decent horses still to hit the courses but had £2 on her. Much better odds than some of the sprinters at the head of the market.

    50/1 SNOWFALL Oaks 2021 £2.00

I’ll add this to the next thread along with Hudson River..🤔

Nice one Nath She’ll likely be a lot better next season so why not grab a bit of 50’s. I just saw a filly with a big future win at Newbury. Polemo won as she liked and I’ve asked Bet365 for a price about next years Guineas. If you didn’t see it I recommend a peek. :good:
