    Thank Joni and Jac…..🙌
I believe Mums Tipple will run a decent enough race in the guineas but like the others if Pinatubo is on song they will be playing for the minors. I’m hoping Mums Tipple will show his pace before getting done in the final furlong.
Richard Hannon has already expressed his thoughts on Threat saying they will go to the St James Palace stakes. If Mums Tipple doesn’t get home at Newmarket I think they may him at the Commonwealth.

I’ll update the P/l tomorrow, fingers crossed that Born with Pride can put it up to the boys and show them who is boss

Poor from Born with Pride but the signs were not great beforehand with Haggas saying they have to start her somewhere and the race not ideal then drifting before the off.
Still its just great to having racing back and just done my sums and I’m £2.50 up with a couple Ante post bets in-play.

    Victor Ludorum returned £15.00
    Frankly Darling retured £12.50

Hannon’s horse in the next has previous form on the all weather.
She’ll probably be played late and Kempton’s long straight will help her regard traffic trouble

Richard Hughes has had 3 runners so far this season, a winner at 10/1 and a place included.
Doonbeg Farmer has drifted out to 100’s so had a go each way as none of them have run before and this ones pedigree isn’t too bad

Some nice 2 y/o’s on show at Newmarket today.
Jac would have had a field day with so many running but also a change of outfits halfway through the day as it went on forever…💋
    Sacred looked very good.
Tactical needs a another furlong as does Magical Land who was outpaced halfway before staying on once hitting the rising ground.
As for Doonbeg Farmer he needs wings
Pleased for Rossa Ryan, my favourite jockey banging in two big priced winners, hope he can keep up the good work

The thread title is “Wealth Warning” as I’m not overly bothered with hitting a profit. I will try and hit one but more about enjoying it and not losing too much.. :rose:

Coronation Cup looks an intriguing contest
Ghaiyyath is a monster at times but can also put in the odd stinker it wouldn’t surprise me if he won but I want to take him on at the prices. Stradivarius would surprise me if winning, he running at a shorter trip on quick going and has the Gold Cup just around the corner which would be the main goal.
    I’m splitting my fiver
Roger Varian’s horses look to be running well enough at this early stage in the season and the quick going should help any stamina issues for Defoe. I’ve also done Desert Encounter who is capable of running a big race on his day and the going won’t be a problem for him. Jim Crowley’s record on him is one to forget and with the horses running style I’d rather have Spencer on board but at the price had to have a small play

    4/1 DEFOE £3.00
    50/1 DESERT ENCOUNTER £2.00

Tough race this for Oh this is Us but he is drawn well, can travel nicely into races and sometimes is a tad unlucky in running

I went on oddschecker to see what price Stradivarius was for the Gold Cup and ended up coming out having backed Sacred for the Queen Mary. It’s possible she could go for the Albany but she won so well over 5f that if she were mine I’d keep her at the minimum for now. Anything coming to the party will have to do so soon enough as Ascot is only around the corner. I take it Wesley Ward will be bringing his big girls ?? but they will have to be good to beat this one

    6/1 SACRED Queen Mary £6.00

2000 Guineas tomorrow, I never thought we were going to get here at one point
Pinatubo was sensational last season and I hope he can reproduce this year
I’ve had a couple of quid on both the 2 lengths or over and 4 lengths and over
The slight downfall to the distance bets is the tailwind favouring the front runners which could reduce the distance margin

    11/4 PINATUBO 2 lengths or over £2.00
    7/1 PINATUBO 4 lengths or over £2.00

    -£24.00

betway have superboosted Pinatubo to 6/4
I can see the arguments in taking him on as he ran 6 times as a two year old but I don’t see anything in his pedigree to suggest that he won’t train on. The going is fast which suits fast horses and the wind direction has changed from the tailwind at last known which isn’t a bad thing.

They are trying to spook their clients.

Some lad thinking of having a good go on Pinatubo.

He sees them going 6/4 and gets spooked.

He changes his mind or slices his stake.

More than likely its a 6/4 offer with a max of 20 pound bet.

Nathan please outline this in the future.

The max stake i am talking about with these madcap offers.

    Thanks

It doesn’t say what the max is Colosus, I only stuck £6.00 on but there will be one for sure
Ghaiyyath was 13/8 with them yesterday
and Frankly Darling 6/4 earlier in the week
For a small bettor like myself it can make a difference

    thanks Nathan

When PP do their super enhancements its a max bet of 20.
Thats good for you and the other small punter.

If I had 500 on Pinatubo and I was in the shop, I would definitely have a further 20, the max on him at the boosted 6/4.

    Because its value

A smart man taught me something a long time ago.
If the public are strong on a hot pot.

They put up a false gamble to put you off.

In this case it is Wichita !

There is no way if Pinatubo is right that Wichita will finish ahead of Pinatubo.

Liberty Beach is in my 10 to follow
She has a fighting chance at Haydock. Plenty in the field which should lead to a fair pace which will help her settle, may be keen 1st time up. Royal Intervention and Made in India look the likely dangers but both have to carry more weight and my selection is a rocket. She was just caught out at York in the lowther with the winner getting a good enough ride to slip the field but Liberty Beach stayed better than the rest and York is stiff enough not too worry too much about the distance

    11/4 LIBERTY BEACH 4.25 Haydock £5.00

    -£35.00
