Thought I’d stick this seasons flat bets on here
I’ll keep the staking low as I haven’t been able to get out and clean any windows to top up my betting bankI put a fiver on Born with Pride yesterday at Ladbrokes for the classic trial at Kempton. More than a few decent horse up against her but I’ve championed her all winter so just as well have a play.
I’m already on her for the Oaks at 25s so it would be great if she went there unbeaten5/2 BORN WITH PRIDE Classic Trial £5.00

May 29, 2020 at 22:30 #1489087Thanks grass…

I’m not too fussed with Victor Ludorum losing the other week. Think he ran well enough for a trial and the run should see him in better light on Monday as he looked fresh enough early on. He was another on my list to follow and had he won the day would be shorter than the 2/1 on offer.
2/1 VICTOR LUDORUM French Guineas £5.00

May 29, 2020 at 23:24 #1489088Good luck Nathan
I’ll be cheering Born With Pride home for you next week and I”m putting her in a Rev.Forecast with Max Vega who is my win bet after his impressive battle with my Guineas EW bet Kenzai Warrior.
I’ve just had a quick look down the Newcastle card for Monday and would give a big shout out to TATHMEEM in the 3.20.have taken 5/1. He is a bit of a Newcastle specialist having won 5 times there..Cam Hardie rides.

Let’s get our betting banks topped up and best of luck with the Thread.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 30, 2020 at 21:57 #1489147Max Vega easing for the Classic trial and is a shorter price and fav for the Derby trial on the Friday.
The vibes have seen Born with Pride blue across the board and as short as 13/8 with Skybet
I’ve decided to chip in again as part of a double with Frankly Darling who runs in a maiden at Newcastle on Monday. The main danger to Frankly Darling looks to be Thibaan but I’m happy to take that one on as Stoute’s seem to improve after the 1st race so may well be in need of the run.8/11 FRANKLY DARLING Maiden Newcastle

June 1, 2020 at 14:01 #1489281Jedd OKeefe just had the 2nd at 33’s and although still extremely early in the season the long break we have endured could lead to early shocks with fitness levels of stables unknown. Just had the smallest of small each way bets on Unbreakable in the next, unraced but big price runner up in the last gives a hunch. Can’t go too much wrong off a pound stake.
40/1 UNBREAKABLE 2.10 Newcastle 50p Each Way

June 1, 2020 at 14:44 #1489286Looking like you could be right about the fitness levels Nathan and tough uphill finish at Newcastle..hot fav. turned over in the last.
I have Art Power in 2.45 and hoping that SdS can get King Power Racing up and running with a winner today.

Early days yet and AW Tapeta not the best surface to try and find our first winners.

2/1 puts some pennies back in tbe pot…keep going.
I had him at 15/8 to win and in a double now with Tropbeau for the 1000.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 1, 2020 at 16:17 #1489305A bit of money for the Stoute horse has seen Frankly Darling drift out toward the even mark
Betway have superboosted the horse to 6/4 so that will do for me6/4 FRANKLY DARLING 5.40 Newcastle £5.00

June 1, 2020 at 18:43 #1489330Frankly Darling was better than I expected and the extra distance that comes with the Oaks will suit.
Born with Pride is still my number 1 but the price for this one will shrink once Gosden confirms the target
Worth noting Havlin was keen to express before the race that today was just the kick off and the horse will improve20/1 FRANKLY DARLING Oaks £2.00
