If your using BDM as a yardstick then I’d say lost in translation beating him at Haydock where he got his highest rating is a better performance than santini beating him at Cheltenham , I could see santini doing a Minella Rocco and running into a place late on …his jumping could also find , him out , it’s turning into a really fascinating race

He ground it out but I can’t help but think at the bottom corner he,ll get tapped for speed n the GC , that mistake cost BDM

Not as many shorties this year , first really competitive champion chase in a while , wide open champion hurdle and GC .. Counting the days can’t come quick enough

Gone with cobra de mai and dingo dollar , I’ve liked cobra since I saw him win a small race at catterick , dingo doesn’t win anywhere near enough races but I reckon this is his gold cup ,one of kings favourite races along with the Scottish national , reverse forecast them also

Nap , Id have gone lostintranslation before the king George now defi de sueil , twice won at the festival and I’m convinced something isn’t right with Altior

Lay , easy Champ , can’t jump and there’s def some attitude there , BOD will bring his jumping even under more scrutiny , even if he does jump around the form of his second last year has fell apart …I really can’t get my head around how he,s favourite

E.W , this is more difficult , I can easily see Native River run really well in the GC and is still value around 12-1 , you can get if the cap fits at 8-1 for the stayers , I think he,ll give Paisley park a run today so I’d take that before it potentially goes

Yeah but sprinter didn’t have to beat defi , I’d much rather take rpthe 2,s of defi in this than the 3,s for Champ in the RSA , I struggle to see defi,s faults while I believe champ has a few

This could be the race of the festival if Altior gets here fit , personally I think defi would win as he,d have to much speed ….hopefully they,ll be head to head at the last

Really Mike ? , beaten by a handicapper and at level weights would have been beaten by cornerstone lad , personally I think he,s got plenty to find to win this

Not Nico,s greatest moment , rode pentlands like he was a superstar , good race to watch but from a champion hurdle point of view forget it , hope they take cornerstone lad to a handicap at the festival

Guys what did you think of Claude and Goldie , 11 years old but only ran 9 times in UK , caught my eye for the Scottish national which the owners love having a go in
