I spent months backing def red for the real thing , also backed burrow saint and kildisart e.w ….this will prob be the only time I’ll every bet ona virtual race ….sad as I really though def red would have won the real thing , be a big ask to win it next year as a 12 year old
Id be worried about vinndication having the speed for the KG , I get the feeling he,s a Native River type and needs a proper test , I’ve stated prev I’d aim him at the GC , not saying he,d win but I could see him running into a place
As I’ve prev stated reckon there,s a bunch of above standard novices to follow next year , envoi Allen looks a monster , Goshen a kite , shiskin if he can jump should make a top class novice jumper ….and I love abracadbras , of the established horses I really think lost in translation ran a monster for a yard in a dip , if they can keep his wind right he ,s going to win plenty more races , we also have the return of topofthegame ……I’m wishing the summer away already
Cork both myself and VTC are big sandy Thomson fans , I backed him today as he was weighted to be competive , big turn round from his first run back from his layoff and a nice £18000 pot , well done to a very shrewd yard

Clive surely they,ll divert to Southwell , extend to 5 days and have split jumps/all weather card ….they might have to build a hill though

Santini was in top gear the first circuit , for me he,s too slow , that’s 2 years he,s been outstayed up the hill while lostintranslation was switched off beautifully , watching again I’m sure Robbie wished he asked sooner ….I’m sure they,ll be confident now he stays
Lost did stay , the question is over stable form , the winner is a very good horse and it’s telling how Mullins has trained him …keeping him away from the Irish grade 1s , the pace of those races doesnt help in the GC , he could come back and win another
Lostintranslation has been my main play antepost but the stable form is worrying , I’ve played delta work and rev forecast , good luck all
