I agree with mr wilson you need to put at least 6 hours a day study if you want to bet on horses,i love the game flat and nh but i get so frustrated to find everything geared towards the weekend there are to many races and not enough time to give them full attention, how many times have we looked at a race winner and realised if we had taken more time the reason it won was obvious, perhaps i should just concentrate on one main race, but i might miss something else, cant win can you, however if there is one thing i have learned i stick with the evidence of my own eyes and dont listen to so called expert tipsters there is no such thing.
if he tried behaving like a normal human being instead of on overbearing pain in the a*se viewers might have more respect for his knowledge.
I think to be fair to trainers they have to try and get some edge somewhere that is within the rules, and if that means running over the wrong distance as long as the horse has been given every chance to win personally i dont have a problem with that in fact i quite enjoy trying to read between the lines, and trying to figure what a trainer is doing,i think it is all part of trying to pick winners.
living not far from ayr and knowing the amount of rain we have had here for the last 2 months i am surprised the west coast has not floated away, the ground is very bad, and the middle of the course has some bad patches,i am told,i think i will stick to southern courses tomorrow, but good luck with your choice
dont use tipping services,go on the evidence of your own eyes, and your gut, it wont happen overnight but you will get much more pleasure picking your own winners.
If there is any justice ravens pass should win he does deserve a decent race it should however tell us how good bankable is as ground and distance ok.
as much as i cannot abide ATR cannot help but watch matt chapman for entertainment value but lets be honest he does talk some c…p at times, cant help feeling RUK really should have some kind of forum or studio based programme.
friday and saturday racing looking fabulous, could turn out to be a blessing in disguise, the thought of horses running on desperate ground at york would not have been pleasant to watch or bet on,fingers crossed for decent ground at weekend.
ascot.epsom.goodwood.newbury.newmarket.sandown.and york hope this helps
well i may be in the minority, but to me the logical way to read handicap form is from top weight to bottom weight not alphabetically that way you can read from one horse to the next in correct weight order, but hey everyone to there own.
would be good to have another trade paper
i think you answered it yourself simply did not sell enough copies though i stand to be corrected
thanks for that guys i was beginning to think i had lost my marbles, not for the first time by the way
sorry guys i am obviously not explaining very well, if you take say the5oclock at lingfield to day the first horse you look at in form guide is city for conquest, i just thought it would be easier if first horse was top weight lady bahia and then in weight order down to bottom horse, just one of these things that bug me never get old guys its bad for your health
i am sorry about punctution, will try to do better as it used to say on report card,as far as i can see the handicap form is in alphabetical order i just thought it might be easier to read if the form was listed by weight, just one of the things i thought could be made easier
if we are all being very honest a racing and betting industry that generates millions upon millions of pounds from the very top of the ladder to the bottom it is very hard to believe there is complete honesty the very rich always want more and the ones at the bottom of the ladder need more, there is a saying that everyone has a price not something i completely agree with but for some it does apply,in my limited experience of ownership i believe the people i dealt with were very honest but i am not so nieve to beleive that there is no dishonesty in the game
i would completely agree the horses future performances will tell us how good he is he is with the right trainer to get the best out of him but i do hope he gets easier ground i think he may be one of those animals who will be much better with soft ground
