I have been a Henry Cecil fan since the early eighties and I was very very very happy initially that Frankel won.

I am nowhere near as happy now however.

If they run Frankel in 12 days time in the Dante at York it will be the worst racing decision that I have EVER seen.

He is not a Derby horse.

He should run in the St James Palace at Royal Ascot as it will give him time to recover from todays race and it is over a mile which now looks to be his maximum.

They have World Domination and maybe one or two others for the Derby.

The horse seems to have changed from last year, he now seems far more free running and almost incapable of staying which he would need to do in the Derby.

He must run at Royal Ascot with a pacemaker who must lead him until the straight.

As for today, I have never seen a classic won like that.

He is an incredible horse who MUST NOT be ruined.

First of all Sea the Stars is a great horse.

I just cannot understand the tactics from the AOB horses AGAIN.

What is the point of having 2 horses running as if its a five furlong race ?

The main thing hard to understand though is why make Mastercraftsman, who is a miler, run quite close to a scorching pace and settle Fame and Glory, who is a mile and a half horse, behind Sea the Stars and try and do him for pace.

I would have thought it would have been better to put Fame and Glory where Mastercraftsman was in the race and vice versa.

I want to say again Sea the Stars is a great horse and maybe it would have not made a difference to the result at the end but it would surely have helped both of the main AOB horses.

Mastercraftsman will not run over a ten furlongs again as he does not stay and needs a break now anyway.

Fame and Glory must have a great chance in the arc now.

I don’t think there is any chance of See the Stars running.

Fame and Glory would beat him anyway this time.

I don’t want to see Mastercraftsman running as I would keep him for the QE2 just in case Rip van Winkle does not make it.

I think See the Stars will run next in the Champion stakes at Newmarket.

The horses name is not listed on the Mike de Kock website.

It would be very strange for coolmore to sell a very promising horse of whos ability they are not sure.

They usually sell horses who they know what level of ability they have like Archipenko,Eagle Mountain, Macarthur, King of Rome etc.

Do you have link showing that Kingdom of Naples is now in the care of Mike de Kock ?

    Thanks.

He has a horse called Naples not Kingdom of Naples.

It is not the same horse.

Does anyone know what happened to Kingdom of Naples ?

    Thanks.

Father Time ran well in his first race for 2 months, I hope he runs in the Leger as well as Manifest.

I hope either of those or any AOB runner wins the Leger.

    I do NOT want Godolphin.

I cannot see the logic in the Ballydoyle tactics.

You run 2 pacemakers setting a good gallop for your horse who has to run 2 furlongs further than he has ever had to run before, trying to beat a horse who has won over further than todays distance.

I’m not sure if Mastercraftsman truely stayed 10 furlongs.

We will get him next time though with Fame and Glory, its only 18 days away.

I can see Mastercraftsman running over a mile next, maybe in the QE2 at Ascot.

I thought Age of Aquarius ran a great trial for the Leger.

I hope he runs in the Voltigeur next at York and then Doncaster, although he needs to be held up a bit at Doncaster because its a long straight there.

Freemantle needs to learn to settle and may be better at 10 furlongs.

The winner looks like a horse that will always needs softish ground.

    I told you so.

I cannot understand how a very average jockey can be second jockey for one of the biggest and best stables in Europe.

I can pick holes in a lot of the rides he has for AOB, they are the only horses I look for so if he rides for another stable then I don’t watch.

As I have said many time before, Colm O’Donaghue should get all the rides that Heffernan gets.

The question really is would AOB want Dettori and would Dettori want the job IF IF IF it ever came up which it probably won’t.

It would mean Dettori having to explain to Sheik Mo that he wants to be a member of the opposition.

Who are you wanting Godolphin to supplement as their Ribblesdale winner is injured and out until the autumn ?

Come on Midday, she was unlucky at Epsom.

I have just watched Heffernan ride Von Jawlensky at Roscommon and he seemed to get his reins tangled about a furlong and a half out.

I don’t think the horse would have won anyway as he needs a good gallop and a galloping track as all he does is stay.

I have no faith in Heffernan at all, the horse he rides needs to be considerably better than anything else in the race to enable him to win narrowly.

As I have said before Colm O Donaghue is a much better jockey and should be on the horses that Heffernan rides.

Why did’nt he ride Rip Van Winkle yesterday ?

Surely if AOB had full faith in him he would have got the ride.

Heffernan is a long way below the top jockeys, surely this has proved it.

AOB has lots of choices for this race.

There is Age of Aquarius, Grand Ducal, Aristocrat and last weeks runaway maiden winner Von Jawlensky.

    There are others as well.

I very much hope Heffernan does NOT ride Rip van Winkle.

Rip would have to be much the best horse for Heffernan to win on him.

A mile and quarter on fast ground is probably ideal for Rip but I don’t rate Heffernan at all.

    Please Aidan get somebody else.

Yes I think Frozen Fire could run well as he does not like Epsom and was not beaten far last time.

Its hard to think of an AOB three year old that will run in this so it could be a race for Yeats although personally I hope not.

It could be Frozen Fire, maybe with a pacemaker, and thats it from Ballydoyle.

    We will see.

I am very glad AOB won it.

I was very impressed with Fame and Glory and also Golden Sword who was ridden close to a very strong pace and kept on very well for second.

I was surprised that Byzantine did not make the running as I would have fancied Rockampton running well on his own merits although he did get stirred up beforehand.

Drumbeat badly needs a break and I think Masterofthehorse needs fast ground and probably needs a break as well.

I hope none of these horses go the France on the 14th July as it will come too quick.

Age of Aquarius, Dixie Music, Grand Ducal and maybe another for that.

    Happy day.
