What happened to this horse ?
He won a mile maiden at Navan on the 24th October 2007 and has not been seen since.
He was in the betting for the 2008 Derby but never ran again.
He would be 4 years old now and has only ever had one race.
He must have been injured , but does anyone know for sure what happened ?
Thanks very much.
August 20, 2009 at 16:59 #244955Mike DeKock has him now.
August 20, 2009 at 17:26 #244959He has a horse called Naples not Kingdom of Naples.
It is not the same horse.
Does anyone know what happened to Kingdom of Naples ?
Thanks.
August 20, 2009 at 17:35 #244961Mike De Kock has Kingdom Of Naples….
August 20, 2009 at 19:35 #244983The horses name is not listed on the Mike de Kock website.
It would be very strange for coolmore to sell a very promising horse of whos ability they are not sure.
They usually sell horses who they know what level of ability they have like Archipenko,Eagle Mountain, Macarthur, King of Rome etc.
Do you have link showing that Kingdom of Naples is now in the care of Mike de Kock ?
Thanks.
August 20, 2009 at 19:57 #244988Coolmore (more specifically Mr O’Brien) has been quoted as saying Kingdom of Naples had his problems when at the yard. He was sold to de Kock, as reported in the Racing Post on November 4th last year.
