the one thing i would be worried about with DC is he isnt exactly quick, neat or accurate over his hurdles. could be a prob in the champ

but is being faasel good enough form? what has he, and penzance achieved? i think crow wood and detroit city could be hard to peg back as they will both force the pace. pos with crow wood being the quickest up the hill

if fondmort is retired i think the ‘ryan air chase’ should be renamed the ‘fondmort and ryan air chase'<br>

fondmort is one of my favorites<br>a real charecter<br>who says he has run his last race? lots of horses run again after a fractured pelvis. dont think we should speculate

detroit city seems something special to me, and hasnt been beaten in nearly a year. he is lazy, but i think he has alot up his sleave if something challenges him. however he may be vulnerable to a less exposed type in teh greatwood. any idea what price detroit city is for sunday?<br>as for fair along, i believe hobbs is aiming him at the arkle, and he is a big price for that too.

well unless our vic has a long break i wont be backing him again. even his owner admits he spits the dummy out when things dont go his way

rooster booster was the horse that got me interested in national hunt racing. he had a presence that stood out and i followed his career from his win in the county hurdle. he loved his racing and would have won many more races had they been run at a decent clip. the old grey will be missed. would be nice to see detroit city win the champion, but he wont have the character rooster had, and nor will any other horse

i agree alderbrook. our vic was very tired jumping the last. but he still won, so taking nothing away from him, but later in the season when other horses are all fit and its a real battle he will back out, for sure. look at his form. usually wins races when he is not challenged at his fences at the end of his races

black jack ketchem wont win the order of merit, even if he’s as good as they think, he wont run enough. jonjo will duck out of every race where there is serious opposition

its clear that iris’s gift and tony mccoy didnt work well together. mccoys bullish style didnt suit the grey. he jumped well on his chasing debut for barry geretey at lingfield. think he will be a different horse this season
