I stopped buying it ages ago, too expensive then – even more so now. The only time i would was if i had a horse i looked after that ran in a ‘decent’ race. And now i’m not in racing now, its not worth it – the Sun or Star do decent enough racecards for a quick look at!!

i’d say richard is better than michael, but would rather have patrick any day!!!

richards record on horses i’ve led up 1/34
    micheal 7/28

never led patrick up but next best is
    eddie ahern 12/20ish
    martin dwyer 9/17

took me ages to work that out! most of the ones richard was on were fave or second fave an he’s come up with worse excuse than michael!!!

I’ve only ever been to Swindon for the dogs, an the first time i really didn’t want to go – it was cold an a bit damp. But i really enojyed it, an have been to a fair few meetings since! But how does Swindon compare to other venues? The only other track i’ve seen is nottingham – although i’ve heard of a few others!

got to say i’m better at betting on dogs than horses!!!!

    what about Brandy?

i know about 7 dogs named guiness, 4 named smudge, and ironically a couple named pants!!

my dog was called bilbo baggins (he died 7 years ago so it was before the films came out! and he was a rescue :) ) of course it was billy for short.

my friends suggests Snickers, Jambo and Alfie!

one thing about mobiles – i cant afford a house phone, and it’s either that or a mobile. if an accident happened up the gallops these days at least we can get hold of people quickly!!

one thing that shouldn’t have been invented is marmite in all its ‘evil’ forms! lol sorry couldn’t think of anything else, but i do agree with most of the above

chocolate? well i guess different things work for different people!

if i’m going to work – water water an more water, maybe a packet of cheese an onion!
if i’m racing – tea, cigarettes, more tea, tea, tea, any then about 4 pieces of buttered toast!

hang on a min, i never get a headachey hangover (never have done), but i feel a bit queasy an still pissed, red bull works wonders, but note to myself – no more than 1 can!!!!!

    lol

wow im surprised no one has listed best festival!

Best Festival: V Festival 2007 – despite the weather, it was awesome! We went to the Stafford site, and by all reports the Chelmsford site was much worse than ours.

I would do the best artist/song/album etc but i like a mixture or everything, and i rarely buy albums – although i will say my best single would (surprisingly) be Snow Patrol/Chocolate

    havin a rite laugh

Redcar is a great day out, i found it a very friendly racecourse.
Sandown is probably my fave – Variety Club Day and Coral Eclipse Day are both great days out.
Cheltenham Festival is awesome – but i would miss out Royal Ascot, any Newmarket meetings (the sales is more fun) and Epsom.

Doncaster is ok, Chester is awesome, York is pretty good, but i stil love ol’ Newbury (Totesport Gold Trophy Day and of course the Hennessey)

But i reckon a good summer day out would include having a decent band playin in the evening – i see UB40 is at Newbury soon

    was that any help??
