My cousins had two cats , Smokey & Bacon. Our dog that I grew up was called Cass and my uncle had a bitch called Shadow. However why not go down the snooker route and as she’s black and brown call her Eleven

i know about 7 dogs named guiness, 4 named smudge, and ironically a couple named pants!!
my dog was called bilbo baggins (he died 7 years ago so it was before the films came out! and he was a rescue
) of course it was billy for short.my friends suggests Snickers, Jambo and Alfie!

Yes DB – with so many of you from across the water I should have guessed that would be too easy.
We have just bought a dog. A Border Terrier bitch and we haven’t decided on a name for it yet. Its a black and brown one.
I quite like the name Mambo, but the kids don’t. They all want to call it Yarra, as in the book.No, no, no not Mambo it has to be Billabong :D
We had a meeting about this last night and we are still no further forward. Still no name and the dog arrives next Sunday.
I think you need to have the dog before the name gets sorted; like people who are having a baby and have got a name planned and once the baby is born they change their mind completely……what have the breeders called her? my dog was called Suzy at the breeders..there was no was that I was going to have a dog called that! You could stand outside and practice calling different names out loud which is what you’ll be doing for many years to come…….
