Yet more signs today of how badly out of form Tizzard is. I really do hope things start to turn around for them. Aki Bomaye (son of Stowaway, and a half-brother to Supreme Novices’ Hurdle runner-up Granit Jack) who was a convincing winner of a Turtulla maiden point-to-point on debut is entered in a maiden hurdles at Lingfield and Chepstow next week. This is another one owned by Mrs Mary-Ann Middleton who saw her Oscar Elite run so dreadfully today. There are obviously still good looking prospects coming to the yard and this will be one to keep an eye on.

1.00 UmdeniUgh, that was hard to take.
I’d of fancied Aramon to win that had Townend kept him away from the winner.
Backed Al Boum Photo at 4s last night which even with the deduction works out better than the current 2/1.
I think this is a very winnable race.
Hopefully Walsh has made a mistake here.
Aramon at 4/1 looks more than fair.
This race has cut up a bit, like a few on the card.
It’s interesting to see the split between Sir Erec and Tiger Tap Tap backers here.
I quite like Gardens Of Babylon at 6/1.
I have seen there’s been plenty of money for Ami Debois this morning, 14s into 7/1.
Loose Chips remains my favourite horse in training and back at a C&D he loves goes in as a must e/w bet at 25/1.
I looked back on a few of Give Me A Copper’s races and it reminded me of the favourable impression he left at the time, I know he’s week in the market but at 11/1 he’s worth a go especially given how well the Nicholl’s runners have been performing on Saturdays this season.
Houblon Des Obeaux goes into the book as well given he was in such fine fettle last time out and I was on.
A BIT OF COPY & PASTE HERE I’M AFRAID!
Loose Chips 25/1 (e/w – 4 places)
Give Me A Copper 12/1
Houblon Des Obeaux 12/1February 2, 2019 at 09:22 in reply to: SELECT 3 HORSES to win on Saturday 2nd February 2019 #1394760Sandown today.
1.15 – DOLOS (NAP)

4.10 – THE BROTHERSI think you’re a brave man to get heavily involved on anything here. Frodon has a big question mark to answer at the trip, despite how well he’s finished out his races. He’s not one you could sneak around on.
Elegant Escape for me, also has a question mark about the trip in that it could well be too short. He looks like a National horse through and through for me and looked out of his comfort zone in the RSA.
Terrefort for me has it all to prove after Sandown so I’ll take a punt at the prices on two at 15/2: Minella Rocco and Valtor.
If Minella Rocco is ready to roll, he should well win on ratings and Valtor could well have this race run to suit and if he’s come on for Ascot could well be a Gold Cup horse in disguise.
Valtor 15/2
Minella Rocco 15/1I do really like Midnight Shadow as a horse, he’s gutsy and looks like a classy animal. I think this is a good race to aim him at and the ground should be in his favour.
I do feel that Paisley Park is the one to beat though, coming in off that Long Walk victory; he’s saver material.
Midnight Shadow 8/1
Saver: Paisley Park 4/1
