Since when was Our Ben "one of the fab 4", or Accordian for that matter. There is a huge gulf between the Irish and English horses at present, and that is reflected in all of the major races that they have won in the last couple of seasons, so I dont know why you are so delighted that real great horse that have provided so much pleasure as Moscow and Hardy were turned over.

Just catching up with a few of the threads now.
LGR, I was really hoping that this festival would stop this incredible fascination with French horses by quite a few members on here. Their form simply doesnt hold up over in the UK (obvious most recent past exceptions being Bara and at one stage, but not for long, First Gold)

Yes they do have decent horses, that can raid throughout the season on favoured going, but to talk them up as Cheltenham horses is crazy. They would be much better off aiming their horses at the Leopardstown chrsitams meeting imo.

RD, what would happen if you simply didnt do any transaction for 6 months, without letting them know?

I really hope they go novice chasing with BI next season. With FL in the yard, Murphy might try and persuade BI’s connections to go down that route, and Im sure they will do as he suggests. He would be very exciting if taking well to fences, and hes gone to the top of the hurdle tree.
What price BI for the Arkle?

Bear, "having a bubble", cockney slang for having a bubble baff (bath),- having a laugh.

Have to say, I dont think bear deserves the stick for his post. That was his experience, and he is entitled to express it. I see no reason to call him an "asshole"!

I doubt there was any chance of that IS, even if he did ride Cornish.

I think Meade may keep it for Aintree Doyley.

Sweet Wake for me too. I have looked for alternatives but kept coming back to SW. I think he is banker material.

Whoever sanctioned this march should be sacked. Why on earth would you let a controversial march take place in a republican stonghold area (around parnell square), and on a building site. Its just crazy. The thugs had ample missiles prvided for them as O Connell St is being refurbished and is in a mess anyway. The gardai couldnt contain the crowd as the road is obstructed by steel fencing as the redevelopment takes place.

    It beggars belief.

I think your sole intention on this forum is to wind people up Slooch and to look for a reaction. There have been plenty of your like that have come and gone, so get off your high horse, we’ve all seen it before.
Racing is of secondary importance to you on here!

The jam definitely cought the mood of the working class public brilliantly in its music ( and the football hoolies too). Excellent band. Not a fan of his solo stuff, have to admit.

Dont let a short stack deterr you from limping in. It amazes me the amount of times that weak bets clear the numbers at the table. Always limp in when you can.
