Thats beside the point seabird.
Would he get the same nuber of rides if he was brutal?
No. (please dont go down tha magnier road).
He is a talented jock. (Hills).
I really am getting sick of Kinane leaving his horses with too much to do. He consistently does it. His ride on Karawana last week was typical of him . Last turning for home, with a shortish run in. Pulled the horse wide and it flew home, an eased up third. And yes, I am talking through my pocket.
He is putting me off backing any of his mounts. Hes dangerously close to going down the Dicky Hills road in my book. I simply wont back his mounts.
I didnt see the race, but was it a case of R Hills getting Tabadul beaten, or did the better horse on the day win?
The one that I like today is NOBELIX in the 4.25.
If he is allowed to dictate from the front as was the case lto at Haydock, I can see him quickening away again. He is raised in class, but is getting lumps of weight and is a cofident e/w shot for me at 8s.
Of the others, I cant see Bahama Mama getting beat.
In this day and age, anything is possible and nothing suprises. There was a huge discussion with a few of us in the pub after his performance last Thursday. Most felt that summit was up. He finished absolutely shattered on Wednesday and looked a beaten and dejected man. Then to blitze the rest by nearly six mins, and the yellow by over 8 mins the day after, on a gruelling mountain stage??
The sport is an utter disgrace, an I agree with Sean that there is only so much punters will take. Your not getting a fair crack of the whip.
Delighted for ya Corm. Thanks to LRM.
Onwards and upwards with TRF.
I know I dont post much during the flat season, and am much more involved during the NH season, but I feel strongly that it does matter who owns it. I would much rather see it go to existing members, who I’m sure would do a great job. Having said that, I realise that this is a business, and if it is for sale well then normal business rules of inclusion apply.
For what its worth I would seriously have to review my membership if ID took over. The incidents of threatened legal action to other members was not the type of behaviour I would expect from a prospective ownerand rule maker of a public forum. Yes, he brought a lot of good topics to this forum and was insightful in the majority of his posts, but there were far too many cases of provokation and pig headedness for me to believe that he is capable of fairly and unbiasedly running this forum.
Maybe I am wrong, but I just thought Id put my side across.
Whatever the outcome, it would be a huge shame if TRF was to cease, and I suppose it remaining in operation is paramount to most posters on here, regardless who owns it. For others though, I fear too much damage was done in the past, and that is the last we will hear from them.
Championship Point is the interesting one for me. Ill prob be backing that.
Dicky Hills gets another odds on jolly turned over. Im doin very well laying the worst flat jockey in England. When will everybody learn. IMO, its gone beyond a joke how bad he is. I cant believe he retains his No 1 post with Hamdan. But as long as he does, we can take him on with confidence.
I know this Dicky bashing is waring thin, but lets be serious. Hes an absolute disgrace.
Alexander Alliance for me too. Stack has his stable in great nick, and this horse has a great turn of foot.
Sir OJ interests me a lot. He jumps very well and he has a finishing kick. Obviously he has stamina doubts, but you have to take a chance hat he’ll get home as he has some class. Carberry can switch this fella off as we’ve seen before, so Im quite confident his style will suit.
Innox will be there or thereabouts, as will Joes Edge imo.
Grassy, did you go nrnb. Presume you did.
Mansony would be my idea of the best bet tomorrow in the Red Rum.
The ONLY thing Joacci has in his favour is that he is fresher than the other runners. I dont think that this is enough for the horse to be even placed. The yard is dirt at the minute.
What happened Good Thyne at Chelts. Ran too bad to be true!
This, in theory, is a very good and informative excercise. Now if only we could agree on the list.
You still havent explained your "fab four" jibe. These "fab four" were created by you, and you are blowing your own trumpet by classifying these 4 horses as such. It was 100 times easier to make a case for all 4 losing, than for any one of the four to win.
In an interview today Colm Murphy has stated that Punchestown is his next definite target, although he has come out of the race so well that they havent ruled out going to Aintree either.
More importantly for me though, is that they are seriously considdering going chasing with him next season. Birng it on.
