TOP STUFF STEVE
Great double mate
February 1, 2018 at 16:55 #1340148this thread just keeps giving lol
February 1, 2018 at 17:12 #1340149Thanks all. I got 10/1 in the end for Jungle Cat but the odds at the track were 15.8/1 and seeing that made my confidence shrivel.
Jungle Cat kept on really well today and that was a nice win. He was only 5th best on the Ze Turf preview and I was delighted with that win today.
I missed Jordan’s race but well done with him Raymo. I decided just to stick to the two races today. I thought Benbatl would be a shade of odds on, so happy with 11/10 and he made it look like he should have been 1/2. He may have a group 1 in him at this rate.
As Aiden would say, “Listen, now, listen, Delighted”
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
February 1, 2018 at 17:27 #1340152raymo on fire well done mate

February 1, 2018 at 17:51 #1340158I need Janzoon for a nice bet myself MOM but am happy with my day whatever now. Three doubles and a treble 5/1 9/1 going on to a 10/1 shot Got a thrill for a fiver!! LOL
February 1, 2018 at 18:04 #1340160Bugger that was close!!
Was I a bit unlucky?February 1, 2018 at 18:06 #1340161Eynhallow desperate run too!!
I think you could run that race ten times and get ten different results!!February 1, 2018 at 18:08 #1340162he did get a bump from the winner about two out, but winner would have been unlucky loser
February 1, 2018 at 18:53 #1340170Well done Steve & Raymo (Kings of Meydan),
what a price Jungle Cat was Steve at 10/1 hope you lumped on him, great tipping
I was out all day and have only just got home to my dismal washout of results
.
Just watched Dubai One’s race and all I can say is she was totally outclassed no excuses there, the winner looked amazing from start to finish and it would have been tragic to have lost on the line, well done Raymo
hope you got a bigger price on that one and Drafted as well, you’re on fire.Looking forward to watching it all on ATR later tonight, but first have a tea to cook and a competition to get on the road for Saturday, so back later. Promise to try harder next week, definitely enjoying this win or lose (prefer win though)…Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 1, 2018 at 19:11 #1340174Benbatl was a class apart again and 11/10 was just too good to be ignored. There’s not usually many good ones that turn up for Super Saturday over that trip so he should have a great opportunity to nab a group 1. He may even be very competitive come World Cup night.
I can take the D’bai one on the chin as I knew I had been reeled in by that fast track time he set last time out.
I was spitting feathers a furlong out in the last as Gold Town was squeezed out having been full of running. The horse and jockey did a great job in that last half furlong to prevail. I can’t believe Walton Street was backed into favourite, crazy.
Well done all with winners and well done all those contributing. Only 58 days to go or something like that.
p.s. the all weather finals day is the day before so this flat racing malarkey is gonna come thick and fast.
February 1, 2018 at 19:37 #1340179Benbatl really was the Nap of the day so well done Shivers and to all who went with him, sadly horses like Bravo Zolo and dear old Keystroke are getting expensive to follow but both will have their day some time soon, it seems to work that way.
Just saw that Eynhallow had bad luck in running so won’t write him off just yet.Just noticed that Jack pput in a nice shout with Boynton..
Come back next week Jack. IIt was a tricky meeting today..
Looking forward to next thursday to try to make up for this weeks bad runs..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 2, 2018 at 09:25 #1340245i missed jacks winner,I apologise mate (thanks for pointing it out Jac) my excuse is,I don’t watch the dirt stuff.
I will put up next weeks decs from meydan website as soon as available. I believe its the 1000gns,so I hope to get a few tips from you AW experts.
See you all next week
February 3, 2018 at 00:36 #1340435I mentioned the Al Quoz Sprint earlier in the thread and outlined my doubts about Battaash turning up.
Looking at the betting tonight there is a huge discrepancy between Sky Bet and Paddy Power. Sky Bet go 11/8 Battaash while Paddy Power are 6/1.
The Dire Straits song Industrial Disease had a line that stated:-
“Two men say they’re Jesus, one of them must be wrong.”
That seems to sum up this situation very succinctly.
I opted to back Blue Point at 13/2 in the hope Battaash may make his seasonal debut later and on home soil. Paddy Power have the Godolphin horse 7/2 behind their favourite for the race Ertijaal, at 6/4.
Someone seems to know something the other doesn’t by the look of the massive variance in prices?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
February 3, 2018 at 08:22 #1340459very strange betting fingers crossed for your Blue Point selection. I think Ertijaal goes again thursday
