Thank you green on behalf of all players, really enjoyed the Festival this year and Thunder Snow was the icing on the cake
Where too next for him?I think this Thread gets better and better and have to thank nwalton for putting it up every year and spurring us all on to get out that form book and find winners. Hopefully some of these Godolphin horses will come back to the UK for the flat season and especially hope to see them at Newmarket in the flesh.
Maybe we can tempt you to play next year green,

Glad you decided to go with Thunder Snow and not let that wide draw 12 put you off. CS had him quickly away as hoped for and got the perfect position and what a fantastic finish and even though you knew he’d just won it you couldn’t truly believe he had until the official announcement was made. What a horse.
well done with your trixie I went in with another bet at 100/30 just before the off
my single bets were good but Dream Castle and Divine Image spoilt the very hopeful 5 horse accumulator…JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 30, 2019 at 22:44 #1415011I’d actually backed him before the draw came out, I put the trixie on on Monday when the 5 day decs came out
But as you say my disappointment about the draw ended 50 yards into the race when it became clear he was going to get a perfect sit in behind the pace, was a terrific ride from soumillon as you’d expect from one of the worlds top jockeys
I get the feeling that almond eye, old Persian and cross counter could be horses worth following this year
Maybe even call the wind looking forward to the ascot gold cup who would have a great place chance, though I’m not sure he quite has the class to beat stradivarius
March 30, 2019 at 22:55 #1415033Some good pointers to the new flat season FF and off to a flying start, the bookies will be running scared by Champions Day, best of luck everyone..

And you thought you were finished with me till next January. Lol. Thanks for any help
March 30, 2019 at 23:24 #1415037Bloody spellchecker, Jac
March 31, 2019 at 10:11 #1415148LOL nw.. I hate spellchecker too

In answer to your question and not all will agree but for me it has to be Dream Castle as I believe he was saved once they knew he was never going to beat Almond Eye.
Woukd like to see him run at Royal Ascot possibly The Queen Anne.
The Godolphin horse who didn’t run in the World Cup and I am also lookng forward to seeing where he
is next is Art Du Val., he may come to UK or be campaigned on the International circuit, I hope he comes over.Good luck for the flat and look out for those boys in blue dominating our big races this season…Jac

March 31, 2019 at 16:20 #1415181Bye nw
I think I’ll nominate this for Thread of the year when that time comes around and feel we may have converted some jumps fans to come over
Big G for one who’s a pretty good judge of a decent flat horse
Look forward to the next one.

to an end, but I’ve taken an interest in the flat, both here and abroad (thanks
to the Godolphin compy you put up), that I didn’t think I would, and I’m definitely
much more looking forward to the flat this year. I’ve got yourself and a few others,
nwalton whose Meydan thread has been more than lively, to thank for that. Who says you
can’t teach an old dog new tricks
March 31, 2019 at 23:00 #1415406I feel the same about the ATR Stable Stars Competition Graham and the banter between everyone as we try to pick a winning team, really hope that we get it back next jumps season really enjoy it.
Good luck for the flat

Seems a fair price though a covering bet on the unpredictable but brilliant bataash would be sensible
One I’m considering as part of some ante post trixies anyway
