“It was a funny day yesterday. It was briefly stated that Minding was dead, then the thread was erased. Later Minding appeared in the betting for the Tattersalls at 1/3 (With A Run)
It was clear there was a problem. I also read that Almanzor was an unlikely runner at Royal Ascot, so it seemed prudent to find a horse for the Prince Of Wales.”
It’s funny, I don’t log in very often but was looking for that thread I posted and came across this.
The information was off but we was there and she had been injured and was told she would be put down.
Surprised when she was seemingly being kept in training but even more so that she didn’t drift on Betfair for another 48 hours.
Just wanted to make people aware.
Keep an eye on Family Tree of Aiden’s this season.
Family Tree.
I think Might Bite will win although I fancied Whisper.
This will be my last Cheltenham though and I would love it if Cue Card won.
Will try and be there too.
I love Limato but Tasleet will win today and I imagine be the champion sprinter this season.
Good luck.
What a finish. Hairs are on end.
Sweet Selection
Winning Ways e/w 16/1
Fastnet Tempest for me.
I layed Minding for this and backed Cloth Of Stars the same day.
Surprised Jack Hobbs is running.
Romanised. GL.
Nice to see Eminent being aimed at this with a likely prep in the Craven. Hope he gets there as backed him the day he won his maiden.
Nice to have an ante post to really look forward to. Thought he was good today.
Well done mate. Great stuff!
Congratulations to everyone who won. I had Lord Windermere each way 6 places (finished 7th), still, I got a run for my money and they all came back safe.
Moon Racer never looked at it today. Well done to anyone who fancied Pingshou to come out 40 lengths better off with River Wylde today.
I’ve backed Le Mercurey, Lord Windermere and Perfect Candidate. I wouldn’t be surprised if one the market principals won but it’s the national and each way at 50/1 for a pound is more like it for me.
I agree with Steve on one thing, if you want to back a horse to make money The Last Samurai each way with 6 places is surely the bet.
Passed away yesterday.
Will seem strange to some but he was the horse that got me into racing.
I backed him to win the Paddy Power chase one day and followed him from then onwards. He had his problems but he was a real Cheltenham specialist and who knows what more he would’ve won had he stayed fit.
Sad that he hasn’t had the chance to enjoy retirement after suffering all those injuries/setbacks.
Sleep well.
Well done Voleur.
I had Silviniaco Conti who looked like he was enjoying himself until getting one wrong. Glad he’s been retired well.
