Tombstone.
Obvious choice. We can all see how the Supreme from last year is working out.
If not I hope Peregrine Run wins, as it looks like the champagne corks will be popping on the forum if it does.
Done Zamdy Man E/W. Not really a handicap this so not worried about top weight. Only a small bet in any case.
I had £2 on Mix Boy. He took it up at one stage but clouted one really hard and dropped away quickly. I got a better run than Foxtail Hill backers did mind you. It was a war of attrition with a few casualties.
I was surprised how low the odds were on the winner. I wouldn’t have backed him after two heavy defeats the last twice but some people seem to know when these horses have their correct handicap mark to run well in the big pot races.
A day for Gordon Elliott and the bookies. Willie who?
I thought mine went wide but was well beaten in the end. I was just thinking about Baby Shine and William was gone, haven’t seen it again, gonna watch it on itv hub now.
You’re right about the handicap horses, hope Tombstone and Long Call are in a good place tomorrow. Will do a little each way on those.
Neon Wolf.
The way River Wylde ran today and believing Neon Wolf will relish the trip, it must be a good thing.
Won’t go mad as like to enjoy the racing but I’ll have a few quid.
Fingers crossed. A few fallers and hard to watch.

Supreme – River Wylde E/W
Ultima – Holywell E/W
Champion Hurdle – Buveur D’Air
Mares Hurdle – Vroum Vroum Mag
I’ll take that.
Have had 5 pounds on Beware The Bear and 2.50 E/W on Zamdy Man in the last.
Good luck everyone.
Buveur D’Air will scorch home in the Champion Hurdle. Different level to the rest of them.
Ahem!

Well done

Another race where I won’t bet big. The more I look at it the more I’m drawn to Buveur D’Air. Wouldn’t mind MTOY or The New One winning but have decided to go with this guy.
Just that gut feeling he’ll jump alongside Yanworth and go on comfortably.
Off topic Noel Fehily at 15/2 top jockey is tempting me for a couple of quid. This guy, The Druids Nephew, Neon Wolf, Uknowwhatimeanharry and Charli Parcs (although I like DDS in that race), you never know!
My post was kind of lost at the bottom of page 44. Don’t think Yanworth run his race but Fehily has got a big chance of top jockey now.

None of them. It doesn’t need any more though and should never be allowed to go on another day.
For example, I think Royal Ascot is too long, I’m not overly bothered by the time the Diamond Jubilee comes around.
If you take Divin Bere’s firm with Master Blue Eyes literally he’s about 12/13lbs well in and has also had a breathing operation.
That said I think Long Call will win. Ignoring what jockeys have said I think it’ll win.
Never a big betting race for me but I have gone halfway on it.
Done Melon’s stable companion 7/1 Bunk Off Early – second in the Delloite and Henderson’s impressive Dovecote winner 8/1 River Wylde. Both could be suited by conditions and imo should be closer to two favourites in the market.
I hope you’re right.
I think it’s between these 2, I also think Elgin is better on good ground, therefore River Wylde’s beating of him going away is close to Neon Wolf’s win and I don’t think anything here could have beat Elgin any more impressively.
These things don’t always work out but it would be nice to have a few winners on top of the enjoyment I’ll get regardless from watching the races.
Only just heard from Racing UK that Rock The World has had a wind op since his last run.
Hopefully that’s a positive.
Rock The World was smashed into 9/2 last year and finished 3rd. 14/1 and up 1lb, remembering him getting hampered and Dandridge is up 6lbs I think so at 14/1 Rock The World each way for me.
I just want Labaik to agree to start; is it too much to ask of him?#littlemonkey
I believe Coral are refunding as free bet on refuse to starts
Very interesting. Definitely keep that in mind as he is a good horse.
Think I’ll back River Wylde though. Won’t be at all surprised if Melon wins easy but of his I like Bunk Off Early.
I often follow the money or talk in these races as so often it counts for everything. That said, I wouldn’t mind Midnight Jazz. Aside from the neck defeat to VVM it has some okay form and if it goes here 25/1 for a couple of quid each way looks alright.
Knowing On the Fringe never had an ideal prep last year and with seeing his last race and hearing the comments I have, I can’t look anywhere else. Will have a fair bet (for me about 25-50 pounds). Hope it gets around safe.
