What happens if one of the cubicle doors opens a split second before the others?
Thanks for the links Jack.
I follow Icy on Twitter. He’s some lad!!
That was blistering!!
I thought Big Evs had lost it as drifted wide of the bend but he went again.
Superb

Am I right in saying that neither horse was taken out by connections?
I believe plenty more have been banned from running over the two days.
Perth have gone down from fifteen meetings to thirteen

They have lost a Saturday card due to premierisation and a two day meeting in august as there is going to be a longer break during the summer for the jumps.
But they have an October fixture(22nd). I don’t believe they have ever had a meeting that late in the year.
No and no.
Not sure what the fuss is about.
When premierisation comes in on Saturdays next season we’ll be starting at 9.25

On my way to Aintree in April I stopped off for my first visit to the old Lanark racecourse.
Although the railings have been taken away the track is pretty much still in place including the straight course so I was able to walk round
There are still horses kept there and exercised.
As for points I envy you guys as you have plenty to choose from. My annual visit to my local track at Balcormo was taken away when it was closed during covid and the fixture was moved 70 miles away to Overton in Lanarkshire

I watched it on YouTube(I subscribe to your channel)while I had my breakfast. Thanks for uploading it.
I didn’t realise that Sea Pigeon ever tackled fences. Although you would hardly know it from the tv coverage. Always drives me nuts when you only get to see the leaders going over jumps.
I think it was Aussie Jim McGrath who started using “the persuader” in his commentaries on the Beeb.
The SSR presenter at Bangor has just used “the pro kush”.
Persuader for me all day long.
Stewart Machin(who I’m a big fan of) loves to give us a pun just as the winner reaches the post.
I can’t think of any examples though

It was indeed CAS, it’s coming back to me

That was the Badger Beer CAS. Was it a Mulholland horse?
Tony Carroll has said that he is going to check the racing calendar as he can’t understand how he missed the conditions.
Seems a hell of a coincidence that four trainers have all missed the stipulation that your horse had to have two wins or less.
I wonder how often Weatherbys has to flag up to trainers that their entry is ineligible to run.
Thank you Ian, it’s not just me.
I’ve always said if I wanted to watch the racing on a tv screen I’d be sat at home with a coffee doing it.
My number one priority when going racing is being able to see all the action from up in the stands with my bins. I do agree with you about Aintree though CAS. Even from high up in the Daresbury stand you have to turn your attention to the screen eventually.
I received an email from Perth in the last few days saying their centre enclosure is open for their four weekend fixtures. A bar, ice cream van and a few bookies are in the centre.
However you now have to book your car in advance and it is £20 per person(I’m sure they used to charge per car). How does that compare with other courses?
I’ve been in the centre course once. It was great to see the horses flying over the last fence but not so good if you wanted to see the whole race in the flesh.
It’s not ITVs decision. The game is on the Beeb as well. I wasn’t aware that the police wanted a 4.45 kickoff in which case it would be the FA who decided on a 3pm ko. No doubt the tv channels and the two clubs were consulted but I doubt ITV had the final say.
