It’s some job by Skelton to use the calendar and handicapping system in such a way that Beorma is still able to run in a class 5 tomorrow despite winning six races on the bounce.
But if she wins tomorrow it will be a step up to a class 4 chase at Worcester on Wednesday. Entered at the 5 day stage.
Well, what do you know.
It’s a match

Possible run in a hurdle next Friday as well.
Don’t be surprised if the top horse comes out tomorrow to leave Beorma with a match.

Marsa (in Malta, it was mainly trotting).
I am hoping to make my second visit to Hexham in a couple of weeks(gorgeous location) and I definitely want to go to Carlisle when their jumps season starts. Down south I would like to visit Fakenham, Fontwell and Sandown.
I have never understood why the one person ITV took from the C4 team was Plunkett.
All she contributes to the show is to constantly tell everyone how wonderful they are. I watch most of my racing recorded and she is a guaranteed fast forward every time.
Now, don’t get me started on the camera angles today

Does the judge not have access to the racetech footage, only the photo finish picture?
You can easily tell from the freeze frame rather than the photo finish that Fiskardo has his head in the air.
I have just seen this.
Horrible news. To think that such a minor accident could have these consequences. A horse that would still have had some big days ahead of him.
RIP
It’s currently soft, good to soft in places at Ayr.
Why don’t they supplement him for the Scottish Champions Hurdle

It was a wee bit unfortunate watching the discussion about Clifford Lee and how close he came to being paralysed while the group in the pod were having a great time.
However you can’t knock the amount of coverage racing is getting from ITV. Nine live races on the main channel on one of the lesser Saturdays of the year.
And Plumpton making an appearance alongside Fairyhouse and Kempton on Monday. Not to mention six races a day from Aintree

I have never had a three figure winner.
However last summer I took my 14 year old nieces to Perth. I asked them to independently pick a horse in the first(a maiden hurdle) but they managed to choose the same horse anyway. It was Just An Artist of Nick Alexander’s.
I thought it had no chance so I only put a few pounds each way. It led from the start, was never headed and came in at 125-1

Our planned trip to Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh later in the week became a shopping trip to Princes Street instead as they spent their ill gotten gains.
The big disappointment with Ayr is that they no longer appear to use the viewing platform on top of the grandstand.
It was always packed out on National day with a great atmosphere. And the view of the course was up there with the best in British racing.
A real shame.
Is it really only two years ago that Michael Buckley was talking about CH being a Cheltenham Gold Cup horse?!?
As for last nights final three furlongs CH did his 35 secs under hands and heels. Were Enemy or Royal Champion under maximum pressure?
Ps, I thought Malcolm Tomlinsons call last night was brilliant.
I am with Refuse to Bend.
Why go from the biggest hurdle in the world at the best race meeting in the world to running in listed or Group 3 races?
They should only go flat if they think CH can compete at the highest level.
I would go Champion Hurdle then give him a break and try the Coronation Cup.
She also had the runner up in the first race.
A cracking days work.
I’d still like to see her get more rides though.

Interesting. But good news.
I had just come across the gofundme page on Facebook and was about to post the link here.
I am amazed that his former connections are not funding this. What is £5k out of the prize money Sprinter won.
I’ll chip in on payday. Hopefully all goes well for the horse.
