Again a placepot,lumping on Yeats to win and a e/w bet on the best stayer in training.Hope the rain stays off though.I went on ladies day last year and it was the worst day ever…that was the most ridiculous amount of rain ever

This is why i cannot stomach Real Madrid..On Yahoo sports today they report Real Madrid have now told Ronaldo he must make the next move to join them,There doing nothing more.So basically they have shown a slight interest but only enough so as not to be up on a "tapping up charge"!!

And now they want Ronaldo to do the donkey work as he won,t get charged by Fifa and so it appears Ronaldo just wants to go of his own accord.They did this with Van Nistlerooy,they just love to unsettle players and then wave the cash about.

Atleast Barcelona have some class about them and the way they do transfers etc.It just stinks how contracts do not mean anything anymore to players.We have a good squad at utd and this type of thing is unsettling to say the least especially with the likes of Giggs,Scholes coming to the end and players like Hargreaves are a waste of time.Seriously need to buy well over the next couple of months.

Condolences to the owners,The Stablelad,Trainer and Jockey.Awful when a NH is euthanised because of apparent falls causing the death but on the flat it seems harder to take in when a horse is killed.

My only negative though is,I do wish though the commentators etc would announce on tv at the time of a horse being put down,I know it,s not an easy thing to convey to viewers but it looks bad when it appears as though it,s trying to be ignored or covered up at the time and only announced in a small paragraph in next mornings papers.

it,s a sad sad fact of racing that horses may be fatally injured but we all have nothing to hide or fear from the Anti,s.

Biggest disapointment of the day for me was Danehill Destiny in the Queen Mary when plum last was her outcome.Totally baffled as to the bad run and can only assume she was off colour.

I tell you something i feel sorry for Ryan Moore,s girlfriend/wife as that jockey is far too early to peak !!! he should have held her up and went way too early.

I,m just sick and tired of these egotistical players like Ronaldo who come to a club,get paid a huge wage,get the best treatment and care of a manager like Sir Alex,Play with some of the best players in the world,Play the best football of their career and to top it win the League and champions league and then wish to leave or it appears they want to leave!!!

If this is true that he wants to go then if i was the Glazers i,d stop his wages now!! We had the same trouble with Van Nistlerooy,Heinze and Jaap Stam.Money is the motivation these days not loyalty to a club!!

To go to Real Madrid(there is only one team in spain !) is a step down in my opinion,They will never have stability so long as they keep firing their mangers but if he wants to go then get shot of him asap.I just pray we buy a real hardman in the summer to break his legs in next seasons champs league if we meet he he he .

and as for trouble with Stam he never wanted away, Ferguson thought he had lost a yard or 2 of pace and at stams age 31 the money was to good to turn down (16mill) he said he later went on to regret selling him as he got it wrong…

The "break his legs "comment hnestly was meant in jest and tongue in cheek.True he has helped win us the league and champs league but so did players such as Ole Gunner Solksjaer,Roy keane,Paul Scholes,Ryan Giggs and i could go on.
My point is this day and age football is being ruined by the types of player like Ronaldo who go to a club,get the huge pay packet and then run after a couple of seasons as soon as some like Real come sniffing.

I do understand it could be all hype and he wants to stay and it,s just the media using their "lies"to sell papers again.Players like i mentioned had loyalty,they won many trophies and could have moved on but they knew they were at the best club(or one of the best) in the world at that time.

i think he could win a lot more at Utd and being the age he is,he does have plenty of time to go abroad.What about staying to defend titles instead of going for a bigger wage at Real.
I,m just a fan of the old type of player who was,nt motivated by £££££,s.He is a great player anyone will admit but he does seem very cocky and bigger than he really is.The story i read regarding Stam was there was a bust up in the changing rooms and when Fergie blew his lid at Stam he decided to pack up and go(a bit like the Beckham incident).
