sure why is he even bothering runing aginst these donkeys? straight to the arc for a 15 lenght win!

of course he can be beaten, I remember the exact same guff two years ago when Motivator was sent off 2/5 for it
looks fantastic! well done.
Can’t wait for this, something to really look forward to
why on earth would you put a fence in front of a good horse like Yeats, in any case He’s going to be a sire
Washington will have his day back in the big time.
really being shown up for the lucky horse he was at this stage, do the decent thing and retire for god sake
GW obviously need the race, I’ll be backing him the next day.
Quote: from Maurice on 5:49 pm on June 15, 2007[br]I don’t believe he thought Istabraq would run to his best in his final Champion Hurdle.
DJ, obviously not or I’d be able to cite them. As I said, I can only go by my figures for the races over many years and my theory is based on those.
I agree with a lot of what Steve says but I remain to be convinced that an established 126 horse can run to 126 first time up in a new season. A 136 horse can probably run to 126 but I doubt it could run to 136.
he won’t need to run to a 126..

Quote: from psychosis on 3:30 pm on June 15, 2007[br]This’ll be the Aidan O’Brien who admitted that Oratorio had a setback in his prep for the Champion Stakes then?
actually he scoped badly the week of the race, O’Brien said this befor the race
Quote: from clivex on 10:31 am on June 14, 2007[br]Would have been a lot happier if he had had a run already. Not for fitness purposes as much as for simply attempting to get his head straight (er). has to be a concern the noise and occasion wil get to him. The QE11 at ascot last year was a pretty sedate meeting compared with next week
Cant wait to see him though.
Still, if a nice handsome looking colt takes a decent lead , George will be off like a scalded cat ;)
Quote: from cormack15 on 11:10 am on June 10, 2007[br]Yes, historical moment indeed. Equivalent of a filly lifting the Derby here (well, sort of).
Anyone think of any fillies that would have won our Derby if they’d been entereed/ran?
Oh So Sharp is an obvious candidate but would she have reeled in Slip Anchor?
Ouija Board?
Pride
why don’t they just turf out all the other horses and let Frank stride up the hill on his own so we can all have a fairy tale ending, poor Frankie, imagine the neck of the other actually running against him
Dettori won’t win, if there was a different jockey on Authorized I’d back him, I can see him blowing it. 2/1 for an Aiden O’Brien trained winner is a steal
Quote: from Aragorn on 12:36 pm on May 22, 2007[br]The Arc is the highlight of the flat season for me..
Last seasons being a good example.. Previous winner and world champion, Japanese triple crown winner, BC turf winner, Champion stakes winner (Highest rated filly in the world) and the leger winner.. and then you have the horse that actually won it!!!
I’d rather have an Arc winner…
I’d agree with that
if you want to see a crap ride look no further than Kierren McEvoy on Regal Flush last Saturday
