With Botchy/Ham here on Rogue Angel ew,whether he can get to the front early, remains to be seen.
Handicapper given him a chance, fine jumper who travelled well in the GN before giving best late on.
THM makes a good case for Bonny Kate, tremendous run last year as a 6 yr old, that will be my other play, win only.
Cracking race,a few unexposed sorts, one for the video recorder no doubt.

May I be added to those still under starters orders, many thanks.
No SC,time will tell, that to me was an excellent display by a novice around there.
He excelled in conditions that many on the day could not handle.
The time was a couple seconds behind fox norton (169),suggesting decent gallop at the very least.
Not even in december and plenty hats already in the ring, with plenty no doubt waiting in the wings.
Lets hope they all get there, easily the race I am looking forward to the most, at this early stage.
PFN holding the weight card with silsol/zark near the top.
He does have a few lower down, will be watching closely what he leaves in.
Le Rocher 141 looks a dark one, gentle intro lto, plenty form in heavy, stepping up if entered.
Closing Ceremony 135 had his problems, dropping to a dangerous mark, run well here in the past.
Already giving it as soft,as ever need the decs, powder firmly dry.
Brilliant MarkTT…..Summed up perfectly.
You are not alone Phil, the dreaded Watering was mentioned middle of this week.
Many thanks VTC
Plenty of cash for both of yours in the lead up to the race, bally ran a cracker on that ground.
Touched on the ground prior to the meeting, what looked like steady drizzle and its turned to heavy,
another premier meeting that becomes a lottery ground wise

I was cheering old Anteros home, unlucky, ran into a real dark one, loves the place.
Golden run continues, plain to see you put in the effort, and some, well deserved.
Not looked too hard for later, possibly due to thick head, keep an eye on yours once normal vision returns.
Lovely start VTC

Well done with MM.
Very tricky opening day, nothing really stands out.
Your lad in the first is the solid one,no surprise if he went off shorter, plenty will see him as a back/lay,
given his run style.
Will stick with IC,not backed him yet, concern is he may not be fully match fit,in good hands.
The other one worth a mention is Lamb Or Cod,more letters than numbers, when he does put in a clear round,
he is useful, the claim brings him down to 123,will watch the market.
Race 2 lottery, small stakes War On The Rocks/Spiritual Man ew,can see yours finnishing up the hill better than some.
Interested in the tizzard horse 3rd race,Mick Thonic, losing tommy aboard no great hardship, judging his last 2 runs,no surprise if he stepped forward in this.
Aubusson catches the eye in the x-c,touch of class, both horse and jockey inexperienced in this field, canny trainer, could be a sighter for later in the season.
Love watching the novice chasers around this test.
Hopefully be more savvy after tomorrow, will be watching the times closely, there is history with his ground predictions
Best of luck to those playing.
No mention yet of your favourite cross country horse ?
Gently, gently looking at those first three friday.
Indian Castle looks well handicapped, see SWC booked, loves the track.
GL tomorrow,today even
Evening VTC
See they have changed the format day 1 cheltenham.
Three handicaps to start, that look right up your street

Still finding my way round here, not sure where to stick any thoughts at mo.
Looking forward to three informative days.
