Agree with you Cork All Star, cannot imagine there will be any 10-1 on the day

I am going racing to Haydock on Saturday, can anybody who has been racing since the lockdown confirm a few things I was wondering about

    1) Is it e-tickets only or am I meant to print a copy out which would seem silly
    2) Is cash still fine on course?
    3) What is the procedure for getting in. Are they checking ID and address and entering in a system to check tier or just waving through.
    4) If 3 isnt waving through what are the queue times like?

    Thanks in advance :)

There"s only one horse who could give Big Bucks a race in this years World hurdle and he cant jump fences either!Tidal bay at 260 on the machine! Connections dont need me to remind them of their success in this particular race!

Thats a great call and your arrogance doesn’t bother me but dude have you ever made a post without putting an exclamation mark in???????!!!!!!

It gets pretty annoying after a while! Unless Im wrong they are supposed to be used to highlight a sentence that some people might find surprising or controversial but not at the end of every line? So putting one here for instance would not really be appropriate!?

But yeah hope you took that 260-1. Still not sure what to back myself I dont think I have enough money to wade into a 4-6f though so be an each way bet for me.

I dont watch as much racing as I used to, but is Long Run definitely running in this race? Its really impressed me the two times I have seen it run.

The way i see it, but then i am a very uneducated punter

2008 Denman beat a below its best Kauto Star
2009 Kauto Star beat a below its best Denman
2010 Be nice to see them both at their best.

It irks that me that the only time i ever have bet on Kauto was for the 2008 Gold Cup but thats life i suppose lol. Can’t see it ever been a backable price again for me. (ie 3/1+)

If Neptune Collonges was beaten a shorthead by Kauto Star last year and has improved (I would find it very hard to argue that KS has improved) then why is it more than twice the price that KS is?

I would love to see Denman retain it but I dunno… thing is about its last race what would you say if Madison De Berlais hadn’t been in it? Denman cantered round at a very decent pace and was 20 lengths ahead of the rest of the field despite lugging left at the fences and clearly not being 100% fit. I think Madison De Berlais is underrated in the betting for this though it wasn’t doing too much before it had cheekpieces fitted. I will take Madison to beat Denman with Neptune Collonges and Kauto Star finishing not too far behind – I’m just not really sure Kauto Star would relish a battle up the hill with stamina reserves running low particularly if it makes the odd mistake.

But we will see! A very good race and the toughest to call for a while

Asking has he still got it to a 21yo who never saw Cecil when he "had it" I’d have to say nay… how many trainers would of messed up Twice Over quite so spectacularly? How many good horses seem to routinely get beat.

Just my opinion, I’m not a fan

Yet more daylight robbery that the mug punters in the shop I work in will just put up with.

Well when all the betting shop old fogeys die off the betting shop industry could easily die (well the FOBTs will see it doesn’t but the racing side of things will) because young people like me are just having their interest killed due to "coincedences" like this – unless you bet on the exchanges or possibly on course its just daylight robbery and most people see this, the older patrons will put up with it but they younger ones like me wont.

Nice to see a different London Mayor, I wonder if everyone is willing to give Boris a chance, I agree about what he said about Liverpool, and I think if hes given a fair chance he will be a very good and innovative(!) London mayor. Seemed pretty clear to me Livingston had becone arrogant and out of touch.

One lifetime run… theory being it was a little, say green, or wild on the track, wasn’t really ready to race yet, so they have taken it back to the yard and schooled it some more, broke it in more.

But yes I have decided to give it up.
