Mars Harper
50/1
Each way widely availableOctober 31, 2020 at 16:18 #1508070Sir Gerhard was very impressive at Down Royal.
There is a long season ahead assuming the coming lockdown does not call a halt – but it is going to take a seriously good one to beat him.
Whoever buys Cheveley Park’s NH horses has a very good eye!
October 31, 2020 at 20:27 #1508123The blank chequebook probably helps too
December 18, 2020 at 08:54 #1514526Sir Gerhard 9-2 ew
January 16, 2021 at 15:54 #1517879Great to see Eileendover win so impressively at Market Rasen. And a great interview with Pam Sly on RTV afterwards.
She said she was no sure about going to Cheltenham but if she did the 10/1 is big. If an Elliot, Mullins or Henderson horse had bolted up like that it would be half the price.
January 17, 2021 at 22:18 #1518044Agree with you Cork All Star, cannot imagine there will be any 10-1 on the day
January 18, 2021 at 02:51 #1518053The mares bumper at aintree would seem a good target for her
January 18, 2021 at 07:55 #1518054Agree the track at Aintree would suit her but I doubt they will be going down that route. She is Flat bred and Pam Sly was talking of a Flat campaign over 12 furlongs. Getting Flat black type is probably worth more to them than bumpers at Cheltenham or Aintree but I still think she would be a serious player if she lined up.
January 18, 2021 at 11:09 #151805910/1 looks massive to me.
Just imagine no Irish horses allowed to travel to the Festival.
She wouldn’t be more than 2/1 on the day, if that should happen. Why not take a risk with her?Besides that, if you could win the Champion Bumper with her, that would be more worth than Aintree or anything else.
January 18, 2021 at 11:11 #1518060She has a nice pedigree
Would love to see her run here
no harm in doing NRMBGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 18, 2021 at 11:28 #1518061Ruby i’d say they’ll keep her in until late and see what the travel restrictions are at the time. I’d imagine they’ll be alright travelling by then as you’d hope with this lockdown, things will be a bit better by March time ( and then we will be allowed back out and things will go back up lol!). Given they can still travel now.
10/1 if the Irish are allowed to travel looks rank bad to me. It’s worth remember how impressive Panic Attack looked last year, and how she ran in the end. UK mares bumpers are never the strongest.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 18, 2021 at 11:47 #1518062Agree with you, Jack. Was just thinking about an all-British bumper.
Otherwise, you might get even more than 10/1 on the day.January 18, 2021 at 12:00 #1518063I think she is a bit better than Panic Attack.
January 18, 2021 at 12:05 #1518064She’ll get lapped by Sir Gerhard so they are better off going elsewhere.
lolJanuary 18, 2021 at 17:47 #1518122I think she is a bit better than Panic Attack.
Interesting i seen this mentioned a few times over the weekend, i’d love to know why? Recency bias?
RPRs give her 112, Panic Attack 118. Panic Attack won by further and every bit as easy?
I don’t really get it. The feeling i get is she’ll be miles off it like Panic Attack was.

Kilcruit
This was the horse his previous trainer said was a certainty NTO,
This was a top field.
February 6, 2021 at 16:33 #1521755That was a top class bumper
