I heard Kieren Fallon’s website mentioned on RUK the other day, so decided to take a look just to satisfy my curiosity. On it Fallon states that, for no charge, he’ll keep you up to date with all the latest from the gallops and let you know when he thinks a horse is worth following.
So, I registered.
Today he suggested that both Confront (4.00 Newbury) and Aphorism (4.30 Newbury) were unbeatable, even stating that the booking of Jamie Spencer for the latter was ‘a positive’.
If this is the strength of the information he was arrested for passing on, then I don’t think he really had a case to answer.
April 19, 2008 at 21:13 #158805He was charged with conspiracy to defraud Betfair and Totalisator customers which meant that they had to prove he stopped the horses which he tipped to lose to Miles Rodgers via Philip Sherkle and Shaun Lynch
He was not charged with poor tipping.April 19, 2008 at 21:15 #158807Was he not? It must have been me being sarcastic then…
April 19, 2008 at 23:50 #158835Lay off him, its like you make a pot hole for him to fall into then tell him off for falling into it with most of you lot on here.
April 20, 2008 at 01:31 #158838It was a post made more in jest than anything else, though obviously lacking in smilies to appropriate such sentiment.
But the guy’s hardly untouchable now, is he?
April 20, 2008 at 07:56 #158850Is the site definately an "official" Fallon website ? I have my doubts.

It’s already been established by a judge that he didn’t have a case to answer.
April 20, 2008 at 10:13 #158863surely the judges decision wasn’t that he didn’t have a case to answer, just that the one brought against him was inadequate enough to answer – there is a very slight difference there
April 20, 2008 at 10:57 #158867The booking of Jamie Spencer for Aphorism was a positive, as his style is perfect for that horse and he won on it last year (after an apprentice gave it a poor ride). True, it ran badly; but I think overall his eyecatchers will be worth looking at, as Fallon was a very good judge when he had his teletext column.
Though I just hope that he doesn’t go for the obvious hype horses, like Confront. because he probably doesn’t come into contact with many other horses now, unlike before.
May 19, 2008 at 06:04 #164288How can you spend so much time downing such a lousy jockey. No way he could have ridden all those winners attributed to him on his website. He should be arrested for lying.Maybe we could make that one stick.
May 19, 2008 at 06:23 #164289is andy having a laugh , fallon a lousy jockey, never , bloody cheek
May 19, 2008 at 06:55 #164297I registered on the site last month..more out of curiosity than wanting to follow his selections. There’s some interesting stuff on there, but I still can’t help feel that it’s being heavily "ghosted" by an ex-hack or PR man. Saying that, the website pre-amble gives ‘his’ reason for setting up the site as a want to give something back to his fans (rather than to make a few quid), so it’s worth just accepting it for what it is.
THEE&ME – There’s no aftertiming on the decidedly average tips; they are definately coming through beforehand.
May 19, 2008 at 12:44 #164354What is the sites address?
May 19, 2008 at 12:51 #164357You’re just fighting fires all over the Forum firefox – Sam Thoams, Darjina, and now Fallon!
Welcome to the forum BTW.
